Hindi heartland Uttar Pradesh stopped BJPs juggernaut else it was poised to have swept the polls without NDAs support.

Even much touted Ram Mandir issue failed to impress the voters.

There’s an old political phrase “delhi ki kursi ka rasta uttar pradesh ho kar jata hai” proved to be correct again.

Out of eighty seats BJP and allies could manage to win only 36.

33 went to BJP and other three were won by its partners.

Congress and INDIA partners won 43 seats. SP took 37 and 6 went to congress. In a way samajwadi party has emerged as the game changer in Uttar P

radesh.
