On the anniversary of film-Piku, Bollywood Reporter reminisces Irrfan Khan, the legend who surely would be making films in heavenwood after finishing his work in Bollywood, Hollywood and other language film industries.

It’s obvious that Babil Khan resembles a lot with his father Irrfan Khan, the legend, we can’t even dare to pronounce ‘Late’ for Irrfan Khan, however we know that a legend is immortal.
Recently, Babil Khan took to his social media handles and shared two images, one featuring him seated on Ranveer’s lap, and another trying to learn lessons through the intense discussion with Sanya Malhotra.
Sharing images, with the caption ‘Finding friends.’ as he wanna say that he is in search of a friend.
One of the fans wrote, “Oh God! You should definitely work with Ranveer. You both have the same kind of energy.” Another wrote, “Hope you both – @ranveersingh and you – entertain us in the most deep, emotional way possible.”
Also, a video emerged on Thursday showing Ranveer Singh sharing a heartwarming moment with Babil Khan, the son of the legendary and globally acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan. In the viral clip, Ranveer is seen warmly embracing and kissing Babil as he greets the young actor.
Interestingly, astonishing coincides with the day when Ranveer Singh’s wife, actress Deepika Padukone, penned a heartfelt note commemorating the 9th anniversary of her 2015 film ‘Piku.’ The movie, which also featured Babil’s father Irrfan Khan alongside Amitabh Bachchan, holds special significance. Film-Lovers paid their heartfelt tributes to one of the finest actors of the globe-Irrfan Khan, the precious jewel of the world of cinema.
Hereby, we may recall that Irrfan Khan was described by Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian as “a distinguished and charismatic star in Hindi and English-language movies whose hardworking career was an enormously valuable bridge between South Asian and Hollywood cinema”. He was honored in the ‘In memoriam’ segment of 93rd Academy Awards.
Irrfan Khan deserved a lot more in Bollywood but feeling sorry amid accepting that the Indian Film Industry treats Meaningful cinema aka Parallel cinema as the secondary medium, although they are critically acclaimed and praised around the planet Earth.
Deepika Padukone’s shared an image depicted superstar of the Millennium Amitabh Bachchan and ‘The’ Irfan Khan. In the image, a production assistant presented a platter of fruit to Amitabh Bachchan, who gestured towards Deepika Padukone. Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan engaged in a chat with them. Deepika Padukone’s caption fondly reminisced about Irrfan Khan’s habit of joking about her eating habits.
Babil Khan subsequently shared another post, an open letter to his late father, Irrfan Khan. In the heartfelt letter, he expressed gratitude for teaching him to be a warrior with love and kindness, instilling hope, and advocating for others. Babil Khan vowed to continue fighting for their family and fans, professing his enduring love for his father.
Bollywood Reporter is very much concerned about Babil Khan for not only being Irrfan Khan’s son but also for his excellent talent that he has presented till now, hopefully he’ll continue performing likewise an skilled actor in his upcoming projects as well.
We want Babil Khan on screen as the incarnation of Irrfan Khan as it has been rightly said “a Legend never dies.”
