One of the most popular stars of the Indian film industry, Emraan Hashmi made his acting debut in 2003 with the film Footpath because a popular star with his performances in movies such as Murder, Gangster, Jannat, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, and The Dirty Picture among others.
Star Emraan Hashmi, who was last seen in Salman Khan‘s Tiger 3 and the Sara Ali Khan-starrer Ae Watan Mere Watan, is being praised for his web series Showtime. In a recent interaction with the media people, the star spoke about his first meeting with
Shah Rukh Khan in 2003, years before the superstar went on to produce his Netflix series Bard of Blood.
Emraan Hashmi also reflected on working with Megastar Salman Khan on Tiger 3, and responded to a question about whether the Megastar of Bollywood is always late to work, as has been rumored.
Emraan Hashmi said, ” No, he is very punctual, it’s rarest of the rare when he comes late, but then he stays for long and finishes that day’s work and only then he leave.
Talking about his meeting with Superstar King Shah Rukh Khan, Emraan spoke, “I first met Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of my film Murder, when he had come to meet Mahesh Bhatt sahab. So I hadn’t actually met him, I was inside, giving my shot, and he waved to me and showed me a ‘thumbs-up’ sign and said something like, ‘You are doing well’. I don’t know if he had seen Footpat but that was very encouraging for me, because I am a very big SRK fan and that’s how my first meeting with SRK was.”
Emraan Hashmi is all set to play ‘Omi Bhau’ in Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film, ‘OG’. The film’s team shared a new poster on his birthday.
Emraan Hashmi is being praised for his performance in Showtime.
Directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, the series explores Raghu Khanna’s journey of redemption and ambition, showcasing his efforts to mend relationships and reclaim his legacy. Streaming has begun from July 12th on Disney+ Hotstar and response is quite amazing. Karan Johar, said, “Showtime holds a special place in my heart.”
