An Indian fugitive Deepak Kumar Thakkar illegal cricket betting has been extradited to India from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Gujrat police has arrested him on charges of illegal cricket betting, stick market trading and gawala transactions amounting to 2, 273 crore.

A team from Gujrat police had gone to track him down after getting information about Thakkar’s presence in UAE where he was in custody on the basis of a red corner notice issued by Interpol.
