Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, has spent a few years grooming his art and craft in theatre. His theatre background has equipped him with the skills necessary to take on such a challenging and intriguing role in Maharaj. Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, Maharaj is set to premiere on Netflix on June 14.1 day.
Maharaj Produced by Aditya Chopra under YRF Entertainment, the movie set in pre-independent India also featured Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari in a special appearance.
Siddharth P Malhotra, known for the Rani Mukerji-starrer Hichki, has directed Maharaj, movie is based on the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862.
…And on the other hand Maharaja is a Southern Indian Film in Tamil language, Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan (Kurangu Bommai), Maharaja is a revenge saga about a barber (Sethupathi) whose house is broken into. He tells the cops that his ‘lakshmi’ has been stolen, without expressing clearly if it’s a person or thing.
Film lovers are confused because both the Films with almost the same titles are releasing in the month of June. People should know that there is a difference amid both the titles, Junaid Khan ‘s Film has been titled ‘Maharaj’ and Vijay Sethupati starrer has been titled ‘Maharaja’, it has letter ‘A’ in addition in the end of the title. Junaid Khan’s Maharaj is in Hindi, it’s gonna be premiered on Netflix on 14th June.
Vijay Sethupati starrer Maharaja is a Tamil Film also dubbed in Hindi, people can watch the movie in theatres.
