UP CM Yogi takes serious note of Kanpur incident. Directs police Commissioner to ensure arrest of sub inspector and constable.

The sub inspector of police outpost Chakarpur Mandi under Sachendi police station, Satendra Yadav and a constable Ajai Yadav,accused of driving one Sunil Rajput to commit suicide were reported to be on the run after FIR was lodged against them following massive public pressure at Kanpur.

CM Yogi Aditya Nath has taken strong exception towards this incident after local MLA Abhijit Singh Sanga rushed to Lucknow to apprise him how Kanpur cops had been behaving in public.

The MLA reportedly told the CM that cops were hand in glove with sand mafia and were involved in various other nefarious activities.

The CM reportedly gave tongue lashing to the trainee IPS Amol Murkut for misbehaving with the MLA and failing to discharge his duties.

The CM also directed the Kanpur police commissioner to see both absconding cops were arrested.

Meanwhile, following police commissioner’s directive police teams were set in motion to arrest the accused policemen.
To recall, the sub inspector of this police outpost and a constable had been tortouring and harassing one Sunil Rajput a vegetable seller since long.
The constable and the sub inspector paid no money for the vegetables they regularly bought from the deceased’s shop.
The vegetable seller was often allegedly assaulted by the police after he protested against their inhuman act.
Fed up, he decided to end life by hanging.
But before taking the extreme step he made two videos in which he could be seen with a noose around his neck.
Before ending his life Sunil Rajput posted the videos on social media.
This police atrocity has caused quite a furor in this city of Kanpur at a time when elections in the country are going on.
