Uttar Pradesh to Showcase Industrial Might and Infrastructure Growth at UP International Trade Show 2025 in Greater Noida

The Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to host the third edition of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS-2025), scheduled to be held from September 25 to 29, 2025, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.

The mega event is poised to highlight Uttar Pradesh’s transformation into a major industrial, infrastructure, and investment hub in India, while reinforcing its emerging identity as the nation’s ‘Expressway State’.

This year’s edition of UPITS will prominently feature the state’s rapid strides in infrastructure development, manufacturing, and logistics, with a special focus on flagship projects such as the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) and the Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (IMLC).

Both projects are being implemented under the aegis of the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), which is playing a central role in steering the state’s industrial resurgence.

Aligned with the broader vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Uttar Pradesh’ (Self-Reliant Uttar Pradesh), the trade show aims to promote Uttar Pradesh as a prime investment destination for both domestic and international stakeholders, offering a unique platform for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) interactions.

It will also serve as a space for meaningful policy dialogues, product showcases, and investor engagements.

A Grand Showcase of Industrial Transformation

Organised jointly by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department and India Expo Mart Limited, UPITS-2025 is expected to draw an impressive turnout of over 50,000 trade representatives, including industry leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and investors from across India and around the world.

A major attraction of the event will be UPEIDA’s 500-square-metre integrated digital pavilion, which will vividly display the state’s achievements in areas such as expressway development, defence manufacturing, and logistics infrastructure.

The pavilion is designed to offer visitors an immersive, tech-driven experience that encapsulates the future-ready vision of industrial Uttar Pradesh.

 

Cutting-Edge Technology and Visitor Experience

UPEIDA’s exhibition stall will feature an array of advanced digital technologies and interactive elements. These include:

• 3D modelling and virtual reality simulations

• Immersive projection mapping and anamorphic displays

• Real-time simulations and interactive digital tables

• Defence sector prototypes, including 3D dummies of tanks, missiles, and aircraft

The stall will also include two modern conference rooms, a store room, and a pantry, catering to the operational needs of high-profile visitors and delegations.

To ensure a visually appealing and comfortable environment, the pavilion will include:

• Wooden plywood flooring and needle-punch carpeting

• PVC vinyl façade work and waterproof construction

• Backlit display boxes and high-end ventilation systems

For facilitating networking and meetings, the stall will be furnished with four-seater meeting tables, digital stands, LED screens, and upscale furniture.

The interactive table will serve as a hub for visitors to access real-time updates and data on all ongoing UPEIDA-led infrastructure and industrial projects.

Enhancing Connectivity Through Strategic Expressways

The UP government emphasised that the event will also spotlight the interconnected network of expressways that link key nodes of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Corridor — including Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra, Aligarh, and Chitrakoot — thereby facilitating seamless logistics, mobility, and industrial connectivity.

These expressways, developed under UPEIDA’s supervision, are central to positioning the state as a strategic defence and manufacturing ecosystem within India.

A Platform to Drive Investment and Economic Growth

Officials stated that UPITS-2025 will function as a catalyst to showcase the state’s industrial readiness and attract high-value investments across sectors.

The platform will not only promote Uttar Pradesh’s potential in defence and infrastructure but also serve as a model for public-private collaboration, policy innovation, and technological advancement.

As the state pushes ahead with its vision of becoming a $1 trillion economy, events like the UP International Trade Show will play a pivotal role in projecting Uttar Pradesh as a global hub for trade, investment, and innovation.
