The former Indian cricketer, known for his explosive batting, was seen enjoying the match alongside Irishwoman Sophie Shine. Their appearance together in the stands, coupled with videos and pictures circulating on social media, has led to widespread dating rumors.

Currently serving as the official ambassador for the tournament, Dhawan was in Dubai to watch India’s match against Bangladesh, which ended in a comfortable six-wicket victory for India. The duo was also seen together at the airport, adding to the buzz surrounding their companionship.

Dhawan bid farewell to international and domestic cricket in August last year, bringing an end to an illustrious career that spanned nearly a decade. Ahead of India’s clash against Bangladesh, Dhawan expressed his thoughts in an ICC column published on Tuesday, stating that the absence of ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the Champions Trophy would be “strongly felt.”

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which kicked off on February 19, marks the ninth edition of the tournament. It is being hosted by Pakistan, with matches being played across venues in both Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates. The tournament is scheduled to conclude on March 9.

Dhawan was previously married to Melbourne-based kickboxer Aesha Mukerji, with whom he tied the knot in 2012. The couple parted ways in 2021. He shares a ten-year-old son, Zoravar, with Aesha and has also adopted her daughters, Aliyah and Rhea, from her previous marriage.
