21st-century Lotus-shaped Chakravyuh is trapping India, controlled by six figures: Rahul Gandhi
Firing on all cylinders, since being appointed Leader of Opposition (LoP), Rahul Gandhi once again attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for pushing India into a vicious trap of unemployment, debt, tax net, etc. He compared the shape of the Lotus, a symbol of BJP, to the Chakravyuh plotted in Kurukshetra, wherein Abhimanyu was trapped and killed.
A post on social platform X by Rahul Gandhi states, “In Kurukshetra, Abhimanyu was trapped and killed in a Chakravyuh – a formation controlled by six people, and also known as Padmavyuh for its resemblance to a lotus formation. Today a 21st century lotus-shaped Chakravyuh is trapping India and is controlled by six figures: Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Adani, Ambani, Ajit Doval, and Mohan Bhagwat.”
The post further mentioned, “This modern Chakravyuh has trapped our, Youth in a Chakravyuh of unemployment and paper leak, farmers in a Chakravyuh of debt, Middle class in a Chakravyuh of Tax, MSMEs in a Chakravyuh of Tax Terrorism, Jawans in a Chakravyuh of Agnipath and SC, ST, OBC, Minorities in a Chakravyuh of Anyay.”
Lashing out at Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman for her lax approach towards provision for promoting education in her budget, the Raebareli MP wrote, “Take for example the Education budget, at 2.5% it is the lowest in 20 years and at a time when our students are suffering from widespread Paper Leaks, the FM did not deem it fit to even mention the crisis in her speech.”
As a timely intervention to save the country from this trap, Gandhi mentions, “The INDIA bloc has taken the first steps to break this Chakravyuh and will continue to fight until this atmosphere of fear is replaced with Shiv ji ki Baraat, where there is equal opportunity, justice, and freedom for all.”
He cautioned the saffron party for not making the mistake of assuming the country’s youth as Abhimanyu as they were in fact Arjun and would finally break free from the trap laid around them.
Former Congress MLA and AICC member Anugrah Narayan Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a habit of shifting the onus of his failure on Congress, which has failed to solve his own ever-growing problems. “The unexpected drop in number of seats in 18th Lok Sabha has spelled out the forthcoming bleak future of BJP but the latter, as always, is in a denial mode, which is dangerous for its existence.”
Congress MLC from Raebareli Deepak Singh termed the growing problems of unemployment, poverty, inflation, and declining GDP as clear indicators of faulty policies of the Central government. “The growing protest against unemployment, paper leaks, and the Agniveer scheme, has not only drawn sharp criticism from the opposition but has also reflected in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. There is no pension for Agniveers which is bound to lower the morale of our soldiers,” he added.
Says Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCC) member Javed Urfi, “Since 2014, BJP has been misguiding the country on all fronts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman paint a different picture before the nation while the Global Index on Hunger, Poverty, Inflation, etc presents a different picture. The truth is crystal clear but the ‘Andh Bhakts’ are not willing to accept it.”
