Allahabad High Court declines to grant relief to Niharika Dwivedi in alleged 400 crore fraud: Seeks progress report in this case from state government:

The Allahabad high court has declined to grant any relief to Niharika Dwivedi who had sought stay against her arrest in connection with Rs 400 crores alleged fraud in which her husband Abhishek Dwivedi is absconding.

She is MD of Niharika Ventures a firm in her name that has been accused of gobbling up investors wealth.

Instead the court has directed the state government to submit the progress report in this case.

The case has been listed to be heard on July 8 now.

The order has been passed by the bench of Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Justice Surendra Singh.

On her part Niharika’s lawyer had pleaded that she had nothing to do with the firm created by her husband and that she has wrongly been implicated in the case. Hence, an order restraining her arrest be passed by the court.

Arguing on the part of investors senior lawyer Anil Tewari pleaded that MD Abhishek Dwivedi of Niharika Ventures and his wife have swindled Rs 400 crore of investors money. An FIR against this has been lodged at the Shiv Kuti police station of Allahabad city.

Both husband and wife were absconding with the investors money.

Along with common man the husband wife have hoodwinked even lawyers.

Niharika’s husband had purchased several plots in her name.

Hence they don’t deserve any relief from the court.
