Andhra Pradesh School Attack: Man Uses Chainsaw on Class 10 Girl, Two Critical
ANANTAPUR: When extreme cruelty takes hold of a human mind, even the innocence of a school classroom may not stand in its way.
In a horrifying incident that has shocked Andhra Pradesh, a man allegedly walked into a government school and attacked a 15-year-old Class 10 student with a mechanised chainsaw, leaving her critically injured.
Another schoolgirl who attempted to protect her was also brutally wounded.
The assault took place on Friday at a Zilla Parishad school in Raptadu, in Anantapur district. The teenage victim sustained severe injuries to her neck and abdomen, while her right hand was almost severed.
The second girl also suffered serious wounds when she intervened during the attack. Both students were rushed to a private hospital, where they are undergoing treatment and are reported to be battling for their lives.
Police have apprehended the alleged attacker. Preliminary investigations indicate that he is related to the principal victim, although the precise nature of their relationship and the circumstances behind the assault are still being examined.
How the attacker reached the classroom
The circumstances under which the man gained entry into the school have raised serious concerns about campus security. Repair work was reportedly under way on the premises, and the suspect is believed to have entered posing as a worker.
Teachers and security personnel apparently did not question his presence, allowing him to reach the classroom carrying the dangerous equipment.
The attack unfolded so suddenly that students and teachers were thrown into panic. As the violence continued, children rushed out of the classroom and nearby areas in fear.
Several students who witnessed the horrifying scene reportedly fainted or suffered emotional breakdowns.
Once the assailant left the premises, school staff alerted the police and arranged emergency medical assistance. The injured girls were initially taken to a nearby hospital before being shifted for specialised treatment.

Although the suspect has been taken into custody, investigators are working to establish what led him to target the teenager.

He also directed the police to pursue the accused and ensure that he faced stringent legal consequences.

आंध्र प्रदेश के अनंतपुर जिले में शुक्रवार को हुई एक ऐसी ही दिल दहला देने वाली घटना ने पूरे इलाके को झकझोर दिया।
यहां एक व्यक्ति ने कथित तौर पर स्कूल की कक्षा में घुसकर 15 वर्षीय छात्रा पर मशीनी चेनसॉ से हमला कर दिया। उसे बचाने की कोशिश करने वाली दूसरी छात्रा भी हमले में गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई।
यह वारदात राप्ताडु स्थित जिला परिषद स्कूल में हुई, जहां पीड़ित छात्रा दसवीं कक्षा में पढ़ती है। हमले में उसके गले और पेट पर गहरे घाव आए हैं।
उसकी दाहिनी हथेली लगभग कटकर अलग हो गई। बीच-बचाव करने पहुंची दूसरी बच्ची को भी गंभीर चोटें आईं। दोनों को तत्काल अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया।
फिलहाल दोनों की हालत नाजुक बताई जा रही है और निजी अस्पताल में उनका इलाज चल रहा है।
पुलिस ने कथित हमलावर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। शुरुआती जांच में पता चला है कि उसका पीड़ित छात्रा से पारिवारिक संबंध है। हालांकि, उनके बीच रिश्ते की वास्तविक प्रकृति और हमले के पीछे की वजह का पता लगाने के लिए पुलिस जांच कर रही है।

आरोपी अपने साथ खतरनाक मशीन लेकर स्कूल के भीतर पहुंच गया और सीधे कक्षा तक जा पहुंचा। अचानक हुए हमले से स्कूल में अफरातफरी मच गई। बच्चे और शिक्षक जान बचाने के लिए इधर-उधर भागने लगे। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के मुताबिक, कई विद्यार्थियों ने इतना भयावह दृश्य देखा कि वे बेहोश हो गए या सदमे में रोने लगे।
हमलावर के वहां से निकल जाने के बाद शिक्षकों ने पुलिस को सूचना दी और एंबुलेंस बुलवाई। घायल छात्राओं को पहले नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां से उन्हें बेहतर उपचार के लिए निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।
पारिवारिक संबंध और हमले की वजह की पड़ताल
आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी के बावजूद पुलिस के सामने सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह है कि उसने इतनी हिंसक वारदात को अंजाम क्यों दिया। जांच अधिकारी पीड़िता के साथ उसके रिश्ते, दोनों के बीच पहले हुई बातचीत और किसी पुराने विवाद या धमकी की संभावना की पड़ताल कर रहे हैं।

मुख्यमंत्री चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने जताया आक्रोश
घटना पर मुख्यमंत्री एन. चंद्रबाबू नायडू ने कड़ी प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त की है। उन्होंने स्कूल के भीतर एक छात्रा पर हुए इस बर्बर हमले की निंदा करते हुए कहा कि बच्चियों को शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के भीतर निशाना बनाने वाले लोगों के लिए समाज में कोई जगह नहीं है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वह इस घटना से बेहद व्यथित और आक्रोशित हैं। उन्होंने घायल छात्रा को सर्वोत्तम चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिए हैं। साथ ही पुलिस को आरोपी के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई करने और उसे कानून के तहत कठोरतम सजा दिलाने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाने को कहा है।
राज्य की गृह मंत्री वी. अनिता भी मामले की जांच पर नजर रख रही हैं। पुलिस अधिकारियों से लगातार जानकारी ली जा रही है और घटना के सभी पहलुओं की पड़ताल की जा रही है।
इस हमले ने न केवल दो बच्चियों को गंभीर रूप से घायल किया है, बल्कि स्कूल में मौजूद अन्य विद्यार्थियों के मन पर भी गहरा मानसिक आघात छोड़ा है। जिस परिसर में बच्चों को पढ़ना, खेलना और अपने भविष्य के सपने संजोना चाहिए, वहां अचानक भय और हिंसा का ऐसा दृश्य सामने आया, जिसे वे शायद लंबे समय तक भुला न सकें।
