US-Iran Tensions Deepen as Trump Declares Ceasefire Effectively Over

Fresh tensions between Washington and Tehran flared on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump launched a blistering attack on Iran’s leadership, branding them as “scum” and “sick people”.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Ankara, Turkey, Trump claimed that Iranian attacks on commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz indicated that the ceasefire reached earlier had effectively collapsed.

Trump Warns of Another Powerful Strike Against Iran

Delivering one of his strongest warnings in recent weeks, the US President signalled that Washington could carry out another major military operation against Iran as early as Wednesday night.

Referring to the previous night’s offensive, Trump said American forces had struck Iranian targets with overwhelming force.

Even so, he maintained that the renewed hostilities were unlikely to develop into a prolonged military campaign.

White House Says Nuclear Programme Remains the Primary Target

Clarifying Washington’s strategic objective, Trump stressed that the United States was focused solely on dismantling Iran’s nuclear ambitions rather than attempting to overthrow its government.

He asserted that the military operations were designed to neutralise nuclear capabilities and not to engineer political change in Tehran.

Fresh Naval Blockade Could Return, Says US President

Raising the possibility of stronger economic and military pressure, Trump indicated that the United States could restore a naval blockade targeting Iran, including restrictions in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

He noted that while other countries would continue to enjoy normal maritime access, any renewed blockade would be directed exclusively at Iran.

Trump Signals End of US-Iran Ceasefire Understanding

Responding to questions about the ceasefire and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Washington and Tehran last month, Trump suggested that the agreement had effectively lost all relevance.

According to him, the arrangement no longer existed in any meaningful form.

Harsh Personal Attack on Iran’s Leadership

During the interaction, Trump intensified his criticism by repeatedly using highly derogatory language for Iran’s rulers.

He described them as dishonest and dangerous individuals, adding that he no longer had any interest in engaging with their leadership.

Talks With Tehran ‘A Waste of Time’, Trump Claims

When reporters asked whether diplomatic negotiations with Iran could resume, Trump dismissed the possibility.

He argued that further discussions would achieve little, accusing Iranian officials of repeatedly misleading the international community and insisting that negotiations would only consume valuable time without producing results.

Ground Invasion Not Under Consideration for Now

Addressing speculation about a possible deployment of American troops inside Iran, Trump ruled out any immediate plans for a ground operation.

He remarked that such a decision would only be considered if military objectives were completely achieved or if a comprehensive agreement was eventually reached.

Trump Says He Remains a Prime Iranian Target

Closing his remarks, the US President defended his approach towards the conflict and repeated his earlier claim that Iran considers him a principal target.

Trump said several senior Iranian leaders were no longer in power and warned that the country’s new leadership could also face similar consequences.

At the same time, he acknowledged that he himself remained at risk because of Tehran’s hostility towards him.

अमेरिका ने फिर बड़े सैन्य हमले का दिया संकेत

संभावित सैन्य कार्रवाई को लेकर ट्रंप ने एक और कड़ा संदेश देते हुए कहा कि जरूरत पड़ने पर अमेरिका बुधवार रात ही ईरान के खिलाफ फिर से व्यापक हमला कर सकता है।

उन्होंने पिछली रात हुई कार्रवाई का उल्लेख करते हुए दावा किया कि अमेरिकी सेना ने ईरानी ठिकानों पर बेहद शक्तिशाली प्रहार किए थे। हालांकि उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि मौजूदा संघर्ष के लंबे समय तक युद्ध में बदलने की संभावना कम है।

परमाणु कार्यक्रम को खत्म करना ही मुख्य उद्देश्य

अमेरिकी रणनीति स्पष्ट करते हुए ट्रंप ने कहा कि वॉशिंगटन का मकसद ईरान की सत्ता बदलना नहीं, बल्कि उसके परमाणु कार्यक्रम को समाप्त करना है। उनके अनुसार, सैन्य अभियान केवल परमाणु क्षमताओं को निष्क्रिय करने के लिए चलाए जा रहे हैं और उनका उद्देश्य शासन परिवर्तन नहीं है।

हॉर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य में फिर लग सकती है नौसैनिक नाकेबंदी

ईरान पर दबाव बढ़ाने की रणनीति का संकेत देते हुए ट्रंप ने कहा कि अमेरिका दोबारा नौसैनिक नाकेबंदी लागू करने पर विचार कर सकता है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि यदि ऐसा हुआ तो इसका असर केवल ईरान पर पड़ेगा, जबकि अन्य देशों के समुद्री व्यापार और जहाजों की आवाजाही सामान्य रूप से जारी रहेगी।

ट्रंप ने युद्धविराम समझौते को बताया अप्रासंगिक

पिछले महीने अमेरिका और ईरान के बीच हुए समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) तथा युद्धविराम को लेकर पूछे गए सवाल पर ट्रंप ने कहा कि उनके अनुसार यह व्यवस्था अब व्यावहारिक रूप से समाप्त हो चुकी है। उन्होंने संकेत दिया कि मौजूदा परिस्थितियों में उस समझौते का कोई वास्तविक महत्व नहीं बचा है।

ईरानी नेतृत्व पर बेहद तीखी टिप्पणी

बातचीत के दौरान ट्रंप ने ईरान के शीर्ष नेतृत्व पर व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर भी हमला बोला। उन्होंने कहा कि अब वह ऐसे लोगों के साथ किसी प्रकार की बातचीत नहीं करना चाहते और आरोप लगाया कि ईरानी नेतृत्व पर भरोसा नहीं किया जा सकता।

कूटनीतिक वार्ता को बताया समय की बर्बादी

जब उनसे पूछा गया कि क्या दोनों देशों के बीच बातचीत दोबारा शुरू हो सकती है, तो ट्रंप ने इस संभावना को लगभग खारिज कर दिया। उनका कहना था कि ईरानी अधिकारी लगातार झूठ बोलते रहे हैं और ऐसी स्थिति में नई वार्ता केवल समय बर्बाद करने के बराबर होगी।

फिलहाल जमीनी सैन्य अभियान की कोई योजना नहीं

अमेरिकी सैनिकों को ईरान भेजे जाने की संभावना पर ट्रंप ने कहा कि वर्तमान समय में ऐसी कोई योजना नहीं है। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि यदि भविष्य में कभी सैन्य हस्तक्षेप की जरूरत हुई भी, तो वह तभी होगा जब सभी रणनीतिक लक्ष्य पूरे हो जाएं या फिर कोई व्यापक समझौता हो जाए।

खुद को बताया ईरान का प्रमुख निशाना

अपनी टिप्पणी के अंत में ट्रंप ने ईरान के साथ अपनाई गई नीति का बचाव करते हुए दोहराया कि वह तेहरान के प्रमुख निशानों में शामिल हैं।

उन्होंने दावा किया कि ईरान के कई पुराने नेता अब सत्ता में नहीं हैं और वर्तमान नेतृत्व का भविष्य भी अनिश्चित हो सकता है। साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि वह स्वयं भी ईरान के निशाने पर हैं, क्योंकि उनके अनुसार तेहरान उन्हें अपना सबसे बड़ा विरोधी मानता है।
