Nobody else other than the thirteen Mahamandleshwars should be given land in the Mahakumbh, Says Ravindra Puri, President of Akhara Parishad

The President of Akhara Parishad Mahant Ravindra Puri has called upon the administration to provide land only to the thirteen recognized Maha Mandleshwars in the upcoming Maha Kumbh. 

 
He said the Parishad has made it clear that no body else other than the recognized Maha Mandleshwars will be allowed to camp in the Mela area.

He said that Parishad has decided to change the old Shahi and Peshwai words used by the Akhara is certain rituals.
 
A final decision in this regard will be taken at the next meeting of the Akhada Parishad, he said.
 
After the news of adulteration in “”Tirupati Prasadam the Akharas have raised the demand that the responsibility of Prasadam be handed over to them.
We have decided to form a committee, having one member from each Akhara to look after the Prasadam issue and the demand has been placed before the government.
The Tirupati Prasadam issue has deeply hurt the religious sentiments of the followers of Sanatan Dharam. He said the local Dev Sthanam was totally responsible for this shocking Prasadam issue.
On the issue of Kashi Vidwat Parishad demanding to take over the Prasadam ritual, he commented that those having children and wives do not come in the category of saints and hence such a responsibility cannot be handed over to them
