Miscreants loot Rs 4.15 lakh from the accountant of a grain dealer in Pratapgarh

Armed miscreants snatched a bag containing Rs 4.15 lakh from the accountant of a wholesale grain dealer in Ramganj market in Pratapgarh and sped away. ADG and IG Prayagraj, SP Sultanpur rushed to the place and talked to the accountant.

According to the victim the miscreants had headed towards Sultanpur. The senior officers formed three police teams and sent them away to hunt for the accused immediately based on the tips provided by the accountant.
 
The grain dealer Santosh Kumar Barnwal has his wholesale business of grain in Ramganj. His accountant Subhash Chandra Tripathi had been working at this establishment for the past twenty years and is a trusted man.
 
The establishment owner had handed over his accountant a bag containing the cash along with a cheque worth 70,000 to be deposited at the Gramin Bank.
The accountant decided to walk to the bank which is close by. 
 
He had reached the gate of the bank when a miscreant wearing a helmet appeared before him and snatched the bag and ran towards other miscreants who were on a mobike. After this, the miscreants sped away towards Sultanpur. 
 
Traumatized for a while, the accountant started screaming as people gathered to see what had happened. Later upon the arrival of senior police officers the gran dealer filed a complaint of loot.
