Country was on the verge of having a new government to be formed by Congress and INDIA alliance parties, said National Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge while addressing joint press conference with Samajwadi party National President Akhilesh Yadav Wednesday.

The new government formed by us would increase the quota of reservation beyond fifty percent.

The present limit of free ration would be increased from 5 kg to 10 kg and youth will find employment.

On one hand there were parties striving for the poor and on the other parties were working only for the rich

This fight was to protect the constitution and democracy.

He said, as many as 26 parties were fighting for the sake of poor. We are also trying to protect the rights of dalits, tribals and the backwards.
