The Lucknow police has arrested one Abhishek, driver of Retd IAS officer Devendra Dube, accused in the murder of the bureaucrats wife.
The driver had allegedly roped his friend Ranjeet and his own brother Ravi to commit the crime.
The officer upon returning from golf ground had found his wife Mohini murdered. She was lying on the floor and was allegedly strangled to death.
The murder was reportedly carried out to loot cash and jewellery.
The incident had taken place a few days ago at Sector 20, Indira Nagar where the couple lived in a flat.
Police after screening several CCTV footage had been tracking two suspects.
The three accused were arrested following an encounter. Further investigations are going on.
