Keshav Prasad Maurya Urges BJP Workers to Prepare for 2027 Polls, Targets Samajwadi Party
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has called upon Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to begin preparing for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, expressing confidence that the party will once again secure a decisive victory.
He asserted that the BJP’s election symbol, the lotus, would continue to dominate the state’s political landscape.
Speaking during a visit to Prayagraj, Maurya also launched a sharp attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP). Referring to recent controversies, he said that strict action would be taken against those involved in any wrongdoing.
He accused the opposition of attempting to divert attention from key public issues and claimed that people would ultimately reject such politics.
Addressing party members at the Circuit House, the Deputy Chief Minister encouraged grassroots workers to remain active and connected with the public.

Encourages Citizens to Plant Trees in Their Mothers’ Names
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Maurya appealed to people to participate in environmental conservation efforts by planting at least one tree in the name of their mother.
He said such initiatives not only strengthen emotional bonds but also contribute to creating a greener and healthier environment for future generations.
The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the importance of increasing green cover and urged citizens to take responsibility for protecting nature. He described tree plantation as a meaningful way to combine environmental awareness with social responsibility.

Expressing confidence in the party’s prospects, Maurya stated that the BJP would continue to enjoy public support in both Uttar Pradesh and at the national level.
