Kushinagar Horror: Father Allegedly Beats Two Teenage Daughters to Death Over Their Relationship With Local Youths

A shocking incident has emerged from the Seorahi region of Kushinagar district, where a 52-year-old farmer is accused of brutally killing his two teenage daughters after a dispute over their continued association with two local young men.

Police said the tragedy unfolded on Monday and stemmed from the father’s anger over the girls’ refusal to end their relationships.

The accused allegedly fled after the incident but was apprehended by police on Tuesday.

Authorities have also taken the victim’s two minor brothers into custody for their alleged involvement in the crime.

According to police, the boys are accused of assisting their father during the incident. After being produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, both were sent to a juvenile home.

Providing details of the case, Kushinagar Superintendent of Police Keshav Kumar said law enforcement officials received information at around 7 pm on Monday regarding the killing of two sisters, aged 19 and 18.

A police team immediately rushed to the family’s residence to investigate.

Upon reaching the house, officers found the victims’ younger brothers present inside, while the bodies of the two sisters were lying in a room.

Police observed severe injuries on the victims, particularly around their heads, faces, and backs.

Bloodstains were found near the bodies, indicating a violent assault. Investigators also noticed multiple marks on their bodies consistent with blows inflicted by wooden sticks.

During questioning, the boys reportedly informed police that their father had returned home around noon and began berating the sisters.

According to their statements, he was furious because the girls had continued their friendships with two local youths, despite previous controversies that had allegedly brought embarrassment to the family.

Police said the confrontation soon escalated into a heated argument.

The accused allegedly forced both daughters into a room and instructed his sons to lock the door from the outside, ensuring that no one could enter.

Investigators believe the girls were then subjected to a prolonged and brutal assault.

According to police accounts, the father allegedly beat the sisters repeatedly with a stick until they lost consciousness.

After the assault, he reportedly left the house, telling his sons to remain inside and assuring them that they would face no consequences because they were minors.

Station House Officer Vinay Singh stated that the accused’s wife had passed away several years ago, leaving the family without its maternal figure.

Superintendent of Police Keshav Kumar further revealed that the two sisters had reportedly eloped with the same local youths on three separate occasions last year—in March, June and December.

Following each incident, police had registered abduction cases and launched efforts to trace the girls.

The officer said the sisters were recovered within a few days on all three occasions. Their male friends were arrested each time after police intervention.

However, despite repeated action by law enforcement, the girls allegedly maintained contact with the youths, a factor that investigators believe ultimately contributed to the fatal confrontation that ended in an unimaginable family tragedy.

Police have launched a detailed investigation into the case and are continuing legal proceedings against all those allegedly involved.
