Militants ambushed and opend fire at the fleet of Manipur CM N Biren Singh leaving a commando injured in the attack.
The CM who escaped this deadly attack has termed this act as a cowardly attack and we would deal with it, he added.
According to police sources, the CMs fleet was heading towards violence torn Jiribam when it came under militants gun fire near Sinam.
Security forces accompanying the CM returned the fire.
This was an attack against people of the state and it will be dealt with, said the CM.
