Modi’s Fast-Track Courts Plan for Paper Leak Cases Gets Strong Backing from BJP, NDA Leaders
New Delhi: Senior Union ministers and top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Thursday strongly endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases, describing the move as a decisive step towards protecting students’ future and ensuring swift justice against those responsible for examination fraud.
The show of support came shortly after the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of students.
Days after raising the issue during the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party meeting, Modi announced through a post on social media platform X that the government had resolved to create fast-track courts to deliver speedy trials and stringent punishment in paper leak cases.
Emphasising the importance of protecting young people, the Prime Minister said that nothing could take precedence over the welfare and future of the nation’s youth.
He stated that all concerned departments and officials had been instructed to initiate the necessary steps for implementing the decision.
According to him, the initiative forms part of the government’s broader efforts to secure students’ interests and ensure that those attempting to destroy their future are dealt with firmly.
The announcement assumes significance as student protests continue at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar over the alleged NEET paper leak.
Demonstrators have been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, while Opposition parties have maintained that they will not participate in any parliamentary discussion on the issue unless he steps down.
Backing the Prime Minister’s decision, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Modi government considers the welfare and bright future of the country’s youth as its foremost responsibility.
He described the decision to establish fast-track courts as clear evidence of the government’s commitment to ensuring strict and speedy punishment for those involved in paper leak scandals.
Shah said the proposed judicial mechanism would become a landmark initiative in the fight against examination fraud.
According to him, individuals who compromise the future of students through paper leaks deserve the toughest legal action, and the government’s latest decision reflects that resolve.
BJP president Nitin Nabin also welcomed the announcement, recalling that the Prime Minister had earlier assured the nation that the government was ready for any investigation into the paper leak controversy.
He said the establishment of fast-track courts would ensure that every accused person is brought to justice without delay.
Highlighting the Prime Minister’s leadership, Nabin remarked that whenever Narendra Modi commits, both the country and the international community recognise his determination to carry it through to completion.
He said the government remains focused on delivering concrete results rather than making symbolic promises.
Turning his attention to the Opposition, the BJP president accused Congress and other Opposition parties of avoiding a parliamentary debate because they feared their alleged double standards would be exposed before the public, particularly the country’s youth.
Issuing a direct challenge, Nabin invited Opposition parties to participate in an open discussion on every issue concerning students and young people, including the NEET controversy.
He asserted that the NDA government was fully prepared to answer every question raised inside Parliament.
Continuing his criticism, he alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his allies had a long political record of avoiding serious debates in Parliament.
According to Nabin, the Opposition preferred protests outside the House rather than engaging in democratic discussions on the floor of Parliament.
Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda also praised the Prime Minister’s decision, describing it as a strong demonstration of the government’s commitment to protecting students’ interests.
He said establishing fast-track courts and ensuring strict punishment for those involved in paper leaks reflected the administration’s sensitivity towards the concerns of young people.
Nadda criticised the Opposition for refusing to engage in a meaningful parliamentary debate on the issue.
Instead, he alleged, its leaders were attempting to create public confusion through protests, a course of action he said was inconsistent with democratic traditions.
Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed concern over the ongoing demonstrations in the national capital.
Referring to the protests a day earlier, he said it was unfortunate that certain political groups were attempting to use students and young people as instruments for achieving their political objectives.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, Singh said the Modi administration remains dedicated to fulfilling the aspirations of students and ensuring their overall welfare.
He stressed that every genuine concern raised by students deserves to be heard and addressed through constructive dialogue.
Expressing confidence in the country’s youth, the Defence Minister said India’s younger generation possesses the maturity and awareness to distinguish between genuine concerns and political attempts aimed at misleading them.
He urged students to remain focused on education, national development and building a stronger future for the country.
पेपर लीक मामलों में फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट के फैसले पर मोदी सरकार के साथ मजबूती से खड़े हुए भाजपा और एनडीए नेता
नई दिल्ली: पेपर लीक मामलों की त्वरित सुनवाई के लिए फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट स्थापित करने की प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की घोषणा को गुरुवार को केंद्र सरकार के वरिष्ठ मंत्रियों और भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) के शीर्ष नेताओं का जोरदार समर्थन मिला।
उन्होंने इस फैसले को छात्रों के भविष्य की रक्षा तथा परीक्षा घोटालों में शामिल लोगों के खिलाफ शीघ्र और कठोर कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया।
प्रधानमंत्री के इस निर्णय के बाद भाजपा और राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (एनडीए) के नेताओं ने एक स्वर में कहा कि सरकार युवाओं के हितों की रक्षा के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है।
एनडीए संसदीय दल की बैठक में इस विषय का उल्लेख करने के कुछ दिन बाद प्रधानमंत्री ने सोशल मीडिया मंच एक्स पर घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि पेपर लीक मामलों की तेज सुनवाई और दोषियों को कड़ी सजा दिलाने के लिए फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट स्थापित किए जाएंगे।
प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने संदेश में कहा कि देश के युवाओं का भविष्य और उनका कल्याण सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है।
उन्होंने बताया कि संबंधित विभागों और अधिकारियों को आवश्यक कार्रवाई शुरू करने के निर्देश दिए जा चुके हैं।
उनके अनुसार यह कदम छात्रों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए सरकार द्वारा उठाए जा रहे व्यापक प्रयासों का हिस्सा है और युवाओं के भविष्य से खिलवाड़ करने वालों को किसी भी कीमत पर बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
प्रधानमंत्री की यह घोषणा ऐसे समय आई है जब दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पर कथित नीट पेपर लीक मामले को लेकर छात्र आंदोलन जारी है।
प्रदर्शनकारी केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रहे हैं, जबकि विपक्षी दलों ने स्पष्ट कर दिया है कि उनके इस्तीफा दिए बिना वे संसद में इस मुद्दे पर किसी चर्चा में भाग नहीं लेंगे।
प्रधानमंत्री के फैसले का समर्थन करते हुए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कहा कि युवाओं का उज्ज्वल भविष्य और उनका कल्याण मोदी सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकताओं में शामिल है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पेपर लीक मामलों की शीघ्र सुनवाई और दोषियों को कठोर दंड दिलाने के लिए फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट स्थापित करने का निर्णय सरकार की इसी प्रतिबद्धता का प्रमाण है।
अमित शाह ने कहा कि यह पहल परीक्षा प्रणाली को कमजोर करने वाले तत्वों के खिलाफ निर्णायक कार्रवाई साबित होगी।
उनके अनुसार, जो लोग पेपर लीक के जरिए छात्रों के भविष्य से खिलवाड़ करते हैं, उनके विरुद्ध सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में यह कदम मील का पत्थर सिद्ध होगा।
भाजपा अध्यक्ष नितिन नवीन ने भी प्रधानमंत्री के फैसले का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि सरकार पहले ही स्पष्ट कर चुकी है कि वह पेपर लीक मामले की किसी भी स्तर की जांच के लिए तैयार है।
उन्होंने कहा कि फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट की स्थापना से यह सुनिश्चित होगा कि मामले में शामिल किसी भी आरोपी को कानून से बचने का अवसर नहीं मिलेगा।
प्रधानमंत्री के नेतृत्व की सराहना करते हुए नितिन नवीन ने कहा कि जब नरेंद्र मोदी कोई संकल्प लेते हैं, तो देश ही नहीं बल्कि पूरी दुनिया जानती है कि वह उसे पूरा करके ही दम लेते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार केवल घोषणाएं करने में नहीं बल्कि उन्हें जमीन पर उतारने में विश्वास रखती है।
विपक्ष पर हमला बोलते हुए भाजपा अध्यक्ष ने आरोप लगाया कि कांग्रेस और अन्य विपक्षी दल संसद में चर्चा से इसलिए बच रहे हैं क्योंकि उन्हें आशंका है कि बहस के दौरान उनके दोहरे मापदंड देश और विशेष रूप से युवाओं के सामने उजागर हो जाएंगे।
उन्होंने विपक्ष को खुली चुनौती देते हुए कहा कि वह छात्रों और युवाओं से जुड़े हर विषय, विशेषकर नीट विवाद, पर संसद के भीतर खुली चर्चा के लिए तैयार है।
उनके अनुसार एनडीए सरकार हर सवाल का जवाब देने और लोकतांत्रिक बहस में भाग लेने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है।
राहुल गांधी पर निशाना साधते हुए नितिन नवीन ने आरोप लगाया कि संसद में गंभीर चर्चा से बचना कांग्रेस और उसके सहयोगियों की पुरानी राजनीतिक शैली रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि सदन में बहस का सामना करने के बजाय विपक्ष बाहर प्रदर्शन कर राजनीतिक लाभ लेने का प्रयास करता है।
केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण मंत्री जे.पी. नड्डा ने भी प्रधानमंत्री के निर्णय को युवाओं के प्रति सरकार की संवेदनशीलता और प्रतिबद्धता का स्पष्ट प्रमाण बताया।
उन्होंने कहा कि पेपर लीक जैसे गंभीर अपराधों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए फास्ट-ट्रैक कोर्ट स्थापित करना और दोषियों को कठोर दंड दिलाना समय की आवश्यकता है।
नड्डा ने विपक्ष की आलोचना करते हुए कहा कि संसद में सार्थक चर्चा से बचकर वह जनता को भ्रमित करने का प्रयास कर रहा है। उनके अनुसार यह रवैया लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों और संसदीय परंपराओं के अनुरूप नहीं है।
इस बीच रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में जारी छात्र प्रदर्शनों पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि कुछ राजनीतिक ताकतें अपने स्वार्थों की पूर्ति के लिए छात्रों और युवाओं को राजनीतिक माध्यम के रूप में इस्तेमाल करने का प्रयास कर रही हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में केंद्र सरकार छात्रों की आकांक्षाओं को पूरा करने और उनके हितों की रक्षा के लिए पूरी तरह प्रतिबद्ध है। सरकार प्रत्येक छात्र की चिंता सुनने और उसका समाधान निकालने को अपना दायित्व मानती है।
राजनाथ सिंह ने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि देश के युवा पर्याप्त जागरूक, परिपक्व और विवेकशील हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वे भ्रामक राजनीतिक प्रयासों को समझते हैं और अंततः शिक्षा, विकास तथा राष्ट्र निर्माण के मार्ग को ही प्राथमिकता देंगे।
