Veteran actor Nana Patekar recently opened up his heartfelt memories of the late Irfan Khan, a luminary of Indian cinema who was celebrated for his unmatched talent and grace.
In a candid conversation with Vishal Bhardwaj, Nana shared anecdotes highlighting Irrfan’s remarkable personality and enduring legacy.
Recalling an early conversation with Sutapa Sikdar, Irrfan’s wife and a screenwriter, Nana revealed how her confidence in Irrfan’s potential left a lasting impression.
“Sutapa had worked on the script for Khamoshi and was instrumental in pushing Irrfan’s name for roles. I assured her, ‘He is such a big actor that one day he will recommend our names,’” Nana said, underscoring his unwavering faith in Irrfan’s future stardom.
