National Investigative Agency questions youth living in a lodge for six hours in Allahabad

The National Investigative Agency swooped down upon a youth living in a lodge in Govindpur locality of the city here in Allahabad and questioned him inside his room for over six hours.

The inmates of this lodge all students remained under intense pressure and fear due to the presence of the National Investigative officials in the building.
They were left wondering as to what sort of crime Devendra Azad had committed that prompted the NIA to investigate and question Devendra for such a long time.
However, relief came to them only after the NIA team left the building.
According to Devendra, he was questioned by the NIA in a case. Devendra hails from Fatehabad in Agra district and is connected to Inqlabi Chatra Morcha.
Devendra is post-graduated from Allahabad University this calendar year and is JRF-qualified. He is trying to get admission to do a PhD.
He said the NIA team posed questions like why do you read this magazine, whose photograph you have pasted on the wall, and what type of views you hold. The team also looked into several pictures on his mobile and questioned him.
 The team took away a copy of the monthly paper Mashal, Dastak magazine, and pamphlets about Nagrik Samaj.
