The state government has stopped the salaries of 7572 employees and engineers of Power Corporation and Electricity distribution corporations for not declaring their properties and assets owned by them.
Sources said the defaulters were trying to shy away from declaring their assets because they own properties and wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.
The corporation way back on January 19 had directed all employees and engineers to upload all details of their assets on the corporation’s ERP Portal.
However, despite this 7572 employees and engineers have yet to submit the details as required by the government.
Given this, the government has declared that all those who have not submitted the required information will not be given the Sept. salary.
Their salaries will further be put on hold as long as they don’t adhere to the government’s guidelines.
