Prayagraj: 55 UP Board Toppers Honoured at Jwala Devi Inter College; Volleyball Star Adesh Singh Receives Special Recognition

Prayagraj: In a proud and celebratory moment for the city’s academic community, Jwala Devi Inter College, Civil Lines, hosted a special event to honour meritorious students who secured positions in both the district and state merit lists of the UP Board examinations.

A total of 55 high-achieving students were felicitated for their outstanding performance, reflecting not only their hard work but also the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Soumya Agrawal, along with Sheshdhar Dwivedi, who serves as the State Inspector, and Rishiraj, Vice Chairman of the Prayagraj Development Authority.

The school’s Manager, Dr Anand Srivastava, also attended the function.

Together, the dignitaries felicitated the students with awards and words of encouragement, acknowledging their dedication and perseverance.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome address by the Principal, Dr Rakesh Singh, who praised the students for bringing pride to the institution.

Adding to the occasion’s significance, Adesh Singh, who has earned a place in the prestigious World School Volleyball Championship, was accorded special recognition for his sporting achievement, highlighting the school’s emphasis on both academics and extracurricular excellence.
