One of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema, Salman Khan, is all set to enthrall his fans with his upcoming action-packed entertainer, Sikandar. The film follows the gripping journey of a fearless young man who dares to take on a deeply entrenched network of corruption. As he challenges the existing system, he fights for justice and stands as a beacon of hope for the common people suffering under oppression.

Despite his busy schedule, Salman Khan has been juggling multiple projects. The Bollywood megastar recently wrapped up filming for his much-awaited Hollywood debut, which was being shot in Saudi Arabia. Without taking a break, he returned to Mumbai on February 24 and immediately dived back into completing the remaining portions of Sikandar. Currently, he is filming the patchwork sequences for the highly anticipated action drama, which features leading ladies Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal in prominent roles.

With Sikandar inching closer to completion, director AR Murugadoss and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have decided to enhance the cinematic experience by adding a post-credits song at the last moment. This decision was made to amplify the film’s impact and create a strong connection with the audience. The energetic dance number is being filmed at the grand Royal Gold Studios in Film City, Goregaon, and is expected to be a visual spectacle.

A source closely associated with the film’s production shared insights about this surprise addition. “The idea of including a song towards the end was a spontaneous decision made by Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala. Both of them believed that it would serve as an effective hook for the audience, making the film more engaging. This track is being shot on a grand scale with high production values and will be a major highlight of the promotional campaign.”

If everything proceeds according to schedule, the filming of this peppy number will be completed within a week. With this final segment wrapped up, AR Murugadoss will officially conclude the shooting of Sikandar by March 8. Although the initial schedule included a two-day shoot in Rajkot, the makers have efficiently managed to film those sequences in Mumbai itself.

An insider from the production team emphasized the significance of songs in Salman Khan’s films. “Musical numbers have always played a crucial role in Salman’s movies. Tracks like Jumme Ki Raat and Swag Se Swagat have remained etched in the audience’s memory. This latest song is expected to have a similar lasting impact with its high recall value and infectious energy.”

As per the current plans, Sikandar is slated for a grand release on March 28, 2025, just in time for the Eid festivities. This action-packed extravaganza is expected to be a treat for Salman Khan’s fans worldwide.

Apart from its high-energy songs, the film boasts some breathtaking action sequences. One of the most thrilling sequences in Sikandar was filmed on an elaborate train set in Borivali, Mumbai Suburban, back in January 2025. The action-packed scene involved a massive crowd of around 350 extras, adding to its intensity and realism.

The film’s final schedule is currently underway in Mumbai, bringing together some of the most high-octane action sequences ever seen in Indian cinema. Reports suggest that Sikandar will feature four major action sequences, each set in distinct and challenging locations—a high-speed aircraft chase, an intense brawl inside a train, a gripping jail breakout, and a dramatic showdown in a hospital. These sequences promise to elevate the film’s adrenaline quotient and keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

With a compelling storyline, power-packed performances, foot-tapping music, and mind-blowing action, Sikandar is shaping up to be one of the most awaited films of the year. Fans are eagerly counting down the days until Salman Khan sets the screen ablaze once again with his larger-than-life presence in this action spectacle.
