The main accused in the murder of Jaunpur based Journalist Ashutosh who had given police a slip and escaped from Khandwa has been reportedly rearrested. Ashutosh had earlier sensed coming danger to his life.

He had demanded security but police and administration payed no heed to his demand.

In a now viral video shot by a channel UP Tak, Ashutosh could be seen accusing musclemen of threatening his life. He could be killed at any time.The journalist had said he had been falsely implicated in a case of attempted murder, SC/ST Act but investigation revealed that complainant himself was involved in the crime.

After this Ashutosh had been demanding security cover which was not provided to him. On the other hand, Zamiruddin, the main accused in this murder is still at large.
He had managed to dodge the police team escorting him to Jaunpur from Mumbai.
At Khandwa railway station Zamiruddin told police that he was going to the toilet but he did not cone back.
Police lodged a case against him at Khandwa GRP and launched a search but to no avail.
Zamiruddin was being brought from Vhiwandi in Mumbai where he had been hiding following the murder on May 13.
