Yogi Adityanath Says Rajya Sabha Polls Signal UP Assembly Election Outcome, Puts NDA-PDA Contest at 80:20

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday claimed that the recent Rajya Sabha election results had offered an indication of the likely political outcome of the next Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, framing the contest as an “80-20” battle between the NDA and the PDA.

Without directly naming the Samajwadi Party, Yogi said the NDA would account for 80 per cent while the PDA would have the remaining 20 per cent. He added that the political fortunes of the PDA would become clearer with time.

The Chief Minister was speaking at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’, organised at Patel Park in Lucknow as part of the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s completion of 25 years in public life.

Yogi, along with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and other BJP leaders, also watched virtual addresses by Prime Minister Modi and BJP national president Nitin Nabin.

Congratulating Modi on the milestone, Yogi described the occasion as a matter of pride for Indians.

He said Modi’s political journey from a small village in Gujarat to the country’s top leadership represented the rise of an ordinary party worker and RSS volunteer to a leader who had given India a stronger global identity.

Recalling October 7, 2001, when Modi became Gujarat chief minister, Yogi said he had assumed office at a difficult time. Gujarat was recovering from a devastating disaster, while concerns over instability and activities by forces opposed to the country were also being raised, he said.

According to Yogi, Modi subsequently transformed Gujarat into a model of development, creating a political and administrative narrative that later expanded to the national level.

From a village in Gujarat to a global leadership role

Describing Modi’s journey as one that moved “from village to global”, Yogi said the Prime Minister’s years in public life had strengthened confidence among citizens, particularly young people.

He highlighted measures aimed at improving women’s security, supporting farmers and expanding employment and livelihood opportunities for the youth. According to him, young Indians are increasingly moving from being job seekers to becoming job creators.

Yogi recalled the atmosphere of uncertainty in the country before 2014 and said Modi’s leadership had generated a renewed sense of optimism among the younger generation.

He also cited the abolition of triple talaq, India’s emergence among the world’s five largest economies and the construction of homes for more than four crore people as examples of major changes during Modi’s tenure.

Brajesh Pathak praises Modi’s 25-year public service

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said Modi’s 25 years of public service had brought significant changes across the country.

He said people from different sections of society were contributing to the goal of building a developed India. Pathak also highlighted developments in Uttar Pradesh, including improvements in water supply, electricity, education, healthcare, universities, infrastructure and law and order.

During the programme, leaders also viewed an exhibition titled ‘Jan Seva Se Desh Seva’, which showcased initiatives and schemes associated with Modi’s years in public life and highlighted their implementation.

India-Japan partnership expanding into new-age sectors

Yogi also spoke about India’s relationship with Japan, saying the country had consistently supported India’s infrastructure development.

He said the partnership was now moving beyond traditional infrastructure projects and expanding into emerging areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, green hydrogen and critical minerals.

He also mentioned the contribution of Japan and referred to the proposed corridor being developed in memory of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

India moves from ‘bottom five’ to top five economies

The Chief Minister said India’s economic position had undergone a major transformation over the past 12 years.

He claimed that India was earlier counted among the world’s weaker economies but had now entered the top five. He also pointed to growth in per capita income and said the changing economic landscape was creating greater opportunities for employment, jobs and self-employment for young people.

‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ flagged off in Lucknow

Following Prime Minister Modi’s virtual address, participants took a collective pledge towards the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.

In Lucknow, BJP office-bearers handed a ceremonial torch to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after which the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ proceeded from the venue.

लखनऊ: मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने बुधवार को आगामी उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर बड़ा राजनीतिक दावा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हाल में हुए राज्यसभा चुनाव ने यह संकेत दे दिया है कि विधानसभा चुनाव का परिणाम किस दिशा में जा सकता है। समाजवादी पार्टी पर निशाना साधते हुए योगी ने चुनावी मुकाबले को 80-20 के समीकरण से जोड़ दिया।

लखनऊ के जीपीओ स्थित पटेल पार्क में आयोजित ‘विकसित भारत संकल्प सभा’ में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि चुनावी तस्वीर में 80 फीसदी हिस्सा एनडीए का और 20 फीसदी पीडीए का होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पीडीए की वास्तविक स्थिति आगे चलकर स्पष्ट हो जाएगी।

यह कार्यक्रम प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के सार्वजनिक जीवन के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने के अवसर पर ‘सेवा ज्योति यात्रा’ के तहत आयोजित किया गया था। मुख्यमंत्री ने उपमुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक और अन्य भाजपा नेताओं के साथ प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी तथा भाजपा अध्यक्ष नितिन नवीन का वर्चुअल संबोधन भी सुना।

प्रधानमंत्री को बधाई देते हुए योगी ने कहा कि सार्वजनिक जीवन में नरेंद्र मोदी के 25 वर्ष पूरे होना देश के लिए गौरव का अवसर है। उन्होंने कहा कि गुजरात के एक छोटे गांव से निकलकर मोदी ने देश का नेतृत्व संभाला और एक सामान्य कार्यकर्ता तथा स्वयंसेवक से वैश्विक पहचान वाले नेता तक का सफर तय किया।

मुख्यमंत्री ने मोदी के गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री बनने के शुरुआती दौर को भी याद किया। उन्होंने कहा कि 7 अक्टूबर 2001 को जब मोदी ने गुजरात की कमान संभाली, तब राज्य कठिन परिस्थितियों से गुजर रहा था। आपदा के कारण व्यापक संकट था और देशभर में गुजरात को लेकर चिंता थी। ऐसे समय में मोदी ने प्रशासन की जिम्मेदारी संभाली और बाद में गुजरात को विकास के मॉडल के रूप में स्थापित करने का प्रयास किया।

गुजरात के गांव से वैश्विक मंच तक का सफर

योगी ने प्रधानमंत्री की राजनीतिक यात्रा को ‘गांव से ग्लोबल’ तक पहुंचने वाली यात्रा बताया। उनके मुताबिक, इस लंबे सार्वजनिक जीवन का असर देश के आम नागरिकों के जीवन पर पड़ा है और खासकर युवाओं में आगे बढ़ने का भरोसा मजबूत हुआ है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने महिलाओं की सुरक्षा, किसानों की आर्थिक स्थिति और युवाओं के लिए रोजगार तथा स्वरोजगार के अवसरों का उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आज देश का युवा केवल नौकरी तलाशने वाला नहीं, बल्कि रोजगार उपलब्ध कराने वाला भी बन रहा है।

योगी ने 2014 से पहले के राजनीतिक और आर्थिक माहौल का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि उस समय युवाओं में निराशा का भाव था। उनके अनुसार, मोदी के नेतृत्व ने युवाओं में नई उम्मीद पैदा की।

उन्होंने तीन तलाक की समाप्ति, भारत के दुनिया की शीर्ष पांच अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में शामिल होने और चार करोड़ से अधिक लोगों को आवास उपलब्ध कराने जैसी उपलब्धियों को भी केंद्र सरकार के कार्यकाल से जोड़कर प्रस्तुत किया।

ब्रजेश पाठक बोले- मोदी ने देश का कायाकल्प किया

उपमुख्यमंत्री ब्रजेश पाठक ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के सार्वजनिक जीवन के 25 वर्ष पूरे होने को महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस अवधि में देश के विकास की दिशा में व्यापक बदलाव हुए हैं।

पाठक ने कहा कि विकसित भारत के लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए समाज के विभिन्न वर्ग आगे बढ़कर योगदान दे रहे हैं। उन्होंने उत्तर प्रदेश में बिजली, पानी, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, विश्वविद्यालयों, बुनियादी ढांचे और कानून-व्यवस्था के क्षेत्र में हुए बदलावों का भी उल्लेख किया।

कार्यक्रम में प्रधानमंत्री के कार्यकाल पर आधारित ‘जन सेवा से देश सेवा’ प्रदर्शनी भी लगाई गई। नेताओं ने प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया। इसमें विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाओं और उनके क्रियान्वयन को प्रदर्शित किया गया था।

भारत-जापान संबंध अब नई तकनीक तक पहुंचे

मुख्यमंत्री ने भारत और जापान के बीच सहयोग का भी उल्लेख किया। उन्होंने कहा कि जापान लंबे समय से भारत के बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास में सहयोगी रहा है।

योगी के मुताबिक अब दोनों देशों की साझेदारी केवल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर परियोजनाओं तक सीमित नहीं है। सेमीकंडक्टर, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस, ग्रीन हाइड्रोजन और महत्वपूर्ण खनिज जैसे भविष्य से जुड़े क्षेत्रों में भी सहयोग का दायरा बढ़ रहा है।

उन्होंने जापान की भूमिका का उल्लेख करते हुए शिंजो आबे की स्मृति में प्रस्तावित गलियारे के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के प्रति अकी आबे की ओर से जताए गए आभार का भी जिक्र किया।

‘बॉटम-5’ से टॉप-5 अर्थव्यवस्था तक पहुंचा भारत

योगी ने कहा कि करीब 12 वर्ष पहले भारत की आर्थिक स्थिति को लेकर दुनिया में अलग धारणा थी। उनके अनुसार, उस समय भारत को कमजोर अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में गिना जाता था, लेकिन अब देश दुनिया की शीर्ष पांच अर्थव्यवस्थाओं में अपनी जगह बना चुका है।

उन्होंने प्रति व्यक्ति आय में वृद्धि का भी उल्लेख किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आर्थिक बदलाव के साथ युवाओं के लिए नौकरी, रोजगार और स्वरोजगार के नए रास्ते खुले हैं।

मशाल के साथ आगे बढ़ी ‘सेवा ज्योति यात्रा’

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के वर्चुअल संबोधन के बाद कार्यक्रम में ‘विकसित भारत-2047’ के लक्ष्य को लेकर सामूहिक संकल्प लिया गया।

इसके बाद लखनऊ में भाजपा पदाधिकारियों ने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ को मशाल सौंपी। मुख्यमंत्री के हाथों मशाल ग्रहण किए जाने के बाद ‘सेवा ज्योति यात्रा’ को आगे रवाना किया गया।
