Telugu actor Allu Arjun, who has been named as an accused in the tragic incident during the premiere of his latest film Pushpa 2, where a woman lost her life in a stampede, appeared before the police on Sunday as part of his bail conditions. The actor visited the Chikkadapally police station, where he met with the Station House Officer (SHO), completed the necessary court formalities, and left, according to the police.

Allu Arjun, who is listed as accused No. 11 in the case, was granted regular bail by a city court on January 3. As per the court’s order, the actor is required to appear before the SHO at Chikkadapally police station every Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm for two months, or until the charge sheet is filed, whichever comes first. Additionally, the court has instructed the actor not to change his residential address without notifying the court and has prohibited him from leaving the country without prior court approval until the case is resolved.

The incident in question occurred on December 4, when a stampede-like situation broke out at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the Pushpa 2 premiere. Fans had gathered in large numbers hoping to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. Tragically, a 35-year-old woman lost her life in the chaos, and her eight-year-old son was injured. The boy is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in the city.

In a related development, the SHO of Ramgopalpet Police Station issued a notice to Allu Arjun regarding his proposed visit to the hospital on Sunday to meet the injured boy. The notice advised the actor to reconsider his decision due to the heightened public interest surrounding the case, which could potentially disrupt hospital operations and affect other patients. If the actor still wished to visit, the notice requested his management to coordinate with hospital authorities and the police to ensure his visit was planned in such a way that it would not cause inconvenience to the hospital staff, patients, or the public.

The police also emphasized the importance of keeping the visit confidential to prevent any gatherings of the public or media at the hospital, which could disturb the peaceful environment. In light of this advice, Allu Arjun decided to cancel his planned visit to the hospital, citing counsel from his legal team, as confirmed by official sources.

The case surrounding the stampede has brought significant attention to the safety measures at public events, especially those involving large crowds. Allu Arjun’s appearance before the police and his subsequent actions are part of the ongoing legal process in the aftermath of this unfortunate incident.
