AAP activist shot dead in Anjala, in the last phase of polling in Punjab:

An AAP activist was killed when two motorcycle borne assailants opened fire at a gathering in Lakhuwal village in Anjala, Punjab in Punjab, friday night.

Four other persons were injured in this sudden firing. The activist had joined the party recently, reports said.

The assailants fled the spot after firing indiscriminately. Sources said, the incident took place when a group of people sitting outside a house were chatting among themselves.

Meanwhile, the assailants made their appearance on the scene and opened fire killing one Deepinder Singh. Polling was underway at thirteen Lok Sabha constituencies in Punjab in the seventh and final phase of elections on saturday in the country.
