BJP sweeps in two states where CMs had been arrested before elections:

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren is in jail. BJP bagged eight seats here while the NDA snatched nine seats in this state. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had to stay contented with just three seats. The opposition alliance won five seats here.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail temporarily for participating in the elections following bail granted by the supreme court but all this served no purpose.
All seven seats were won by the BJP.
