The Sidhi police in Madhya Pradesh has cracked a case involving a chain of rape of seven girls including a minor. Police has arrested one Brajesh Prajapati along with two others Rahul and Sandeep Prajapati.The gang was involved in hoodwinking girls through a mobile app by changing their voice.

As investigations were still going on police feels the number of rape cases could reach 30. Following complaint lodged by girls hailing from Sidhi districts, police has a list of complaints made by several girls from Singrauli district also.

The first complaint was lodged at Majhauli police station in Sidhi district. Till now police has lodged four FIRs.

According to police, main accused Brajesh Prajapati had been talking to girls through a mobile app with changed voice while posing as a teacher of Sanjay Gandhi College. The caller used to convince unsuspecting girls of solving all their problems. After the girl reached the appointed place, the accused made them ride the mobike. The victim was taken deep into the forest and raped. The girls were also deprived of their mobile phones.

According to IG range Rewa Mahendra Singh Sikarwar case involving rape, loot and other sections has been lodged against this gang and SIT has been constituted under SDOP Roshni Thakur.

HOUSE IF MAIN ACCUSED BULLDOZED

The house of main accused Brajesh has been demolished by bulldozer in Village Navgavan under Jamodi police station. The house had been illegally built on government land.

Houses of the other two accused will be demolished soon.

Police said, the incident came to light after a victim girl lodged a case of mobile snatching followed by arrest of the main accused. During interrogation Brajesh revealed that he learnt the mobile app trick through U-tube.

 

CM Dr Mohan Yadav while condemning the incident has said, strict punishment awaits perpetrators of this crime. Former MP CM Kamal Nath has demanded high level probe including compensation to victms.
