Prayagraj: Divisional Commissioner Saumya Agarwal expressed dissatisfaction over the sluggish progress in implementing public welfare schemes, particularly delays in incentive payments to beneficiaries under the Janani Suraksha Yojana and other related works.

\She sought explanations from the concerned Chief Medical Officers (CMOs) and directed them to ensure that all pending payments are cleared by the end of this month.

She warned that strict action would be initiated if any further negligence is found.

The Divisional Commissioner also expressed displeasure over delays in updating information on the Chief Minister’s Integrated Monitoring System (CMIMS) portal by the Project Manager of the Tourism Development Corporation and sought a detailed clarification on the matter.

During a divisional review meeting held at the Commissioner’s office on Wednesday, Ms Agarwal instructed all district CMOs to ensure 100 per cent disbursement of benefits under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.

She also directed officials to make it mandatory to tag children with their Aadhaar details and ensure proper documentation.

Further, she ordered all CMOs to conduct regular screening for hypertension and diabetes, carry out surprise inspections of CMO offices, and maintain continuous monitoring of health schemes.

Expressing concern over the slow pace of development works in Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur, and Bhadohi, the Commissioner cautioned officials and directed that details of construction projects costing more than ₹1 crore be promptly uploaded on the CMIMS portal.

The meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Harshika Singh, Joint Development Commissioner, Deputy Director (Economics and Statistics), and Additional Commissioner Amjad Ali Ansari, among other senior officials.

जनकल्याण योजनाओं और विकास कार्यों में सुस्ती पर मंडलायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को लगाई फटकार

प्रयागराज: मंडलायुक्त सौम्या अग्रवाल ने जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं के क्रियान्वयन में धीमी प्रगति पर नाराजगी जताई। विशेष रूप से जननी सुरक्षा योजना के तहत लाभार्थियों को प्रोत्साहन राशि के भुगतान में देरी और अन्य लंबित कार्यों पर उन्होंने संबंधित मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारियों (सीएमओ) से स्पष्टीकरण मांगा। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि इस माह के अंत तक सभी लंबित भुगतान हर हाल में कर दिए जाएं। साथ ही चेतावनी दी कि यदि किसी प्रकार की लापरवाही पाई गई तो कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

मंडलायुक्त ने मुख्यमंत्री एकीकृत निगरानी प्रणाली (सीएमआईएस) पोर्टल पर पर्यटन विकास निगम के प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर द्वारा समय पर सूचनाएं अपलोड नहीं किए जाने पर भी नाराजगी व्यक्त की और इस संबंध में विस्तृत स्पष्टीकरण तलब किया।

बुधवार को मंडलायुक्त कार्यालय में आयोजित मंडलीय समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान उन्होंने सभी जिलों के सीएमओ को जननी सुरक्षा योजना के तहत शत-प्रतिशत भुगतान सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। इसके साथ ही बच्चों का आधार से अनिवार्य रूप से टैगिंग करने और सभी अभिलेखों को व्यवस्थित रखने को कहा।

उन्होंने सभी सीएमओ को उच्च रक्तचाप और मधुमेह की नियमित जांच, सीएमओ कार्यालयों का औचक निरीक्षण तथा स्वास्थ्य योजनाओं की सतत निगरानी करने के भी निर्देश दिए।

प्रयागराज, कौशांबी, प्रतापगढ़, मिर्जापुर और भदोही में विकास परियोजनाओं की धीमी प्रगति पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए मंडलायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को चेतावनी दी और निर्देश दिया कि एक करोड़ रुपये से अधिक लागत वाली निर्माण परियोजनाओं का पूरा विवरण शीघ्रता से सीएमआईएस पोर्टल पर अपलोड किया जाए।

बैठक में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी हर्षिका सिंह, संयुक्त विकास आयुक्त, उपनिदेशक (अर्थ एवं संख्या) तथा अपर आयुक्त अमजद अली अंसारी सहित कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
