Prayagraj DM Expresses Displeasure Over Slow Pace of CM Dashboard Projects, Orders Faster Implementation
।Prayagraj: District Magistrate (DM) Manish Kumar Varma has expressed dissatisfaction over the slow progress of projects being monitored through the Chief Minister’s Dashboard and directed officials to accelerate implementation and improve performance indicators.
Chairing a review meeting on Wednesday, the DM instructed all departments to ensure timely execution of development projects and improve their rankings on the state monitoring platform.
He noted that Prayagraj was ranked 42nd in April, but its position slipped to 47th in May, calling for immediate corrective measures.
During the meeting, officials informed the DM that some indicators had not shown improvement because several single-room housing units under certain schemes had not yet been allocated. The DM directed the concerned departments to resolve the pending issues and expedite the allotment process.
He also instructed officials to submit proposals for projects that require additional funding and emphasised that development works should not be delayed due to financial constraints.
Departments were asked to maintain close coordination and ensure the swift completion of all ongoing initiatives.
The District Magistrate reviewed the status of various projects and expressed displeasure over the pendency of 99 cases related to disputes over land compensation.
He directed the concerned authorities to expedite their disposal and ensure that affected beneficiaries receive relief without unnecessary delays.
The meeting was attended by several senior officials, including Chief Development Officer (CDO) Gaurav Kumar, District Basic Education Officer (BSA) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO), among others.
The DM reiterated the need for accountability and efficient execution to improve the district’s overall performance on the Chief Minister’s Dashboard.

प्रयागराज: जिलाधिकारी Manish Kumar Varma ने मुख्यमंत्री डैशबोर्ड के तहत निगरानी की जा रही परियोजनाओं की धीमी प्रगति पर नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए अधिकारियों को विकास कार्यों में तेजी लाने और प्रदर्शन में सुधार के निर्देश दिए हैं।
बुधवार को आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए डीएम ने सभी विभागों को परियोजनाओं को निर्धारित समयसीमा में पूरा करने और राज्य स्तरीय निगरानी मंच पर अपनी रैंकिंग सुधारने के लिए कहा। उन्होंने बताया कि अप्रैल माह में प्रयागराज की रैंकिंग 42वें स्थान पर थी, जो मई में गिरकर 47वें स्थान पर पहुंच गई। इस पर उन्होंने तत्काल सुधारात्मक कदम उठाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
बैठक में अधिकारियों ने बताया कि कुछ योजनाओं के अंतर्गत एकल आवासीय इकाइयों के आवंटन में देरी के कारण कई संकेतकों में अपेक्षित प्रगति नहीं हो सकी है। इस पर डीएम ने संबंधित विभागों को लंबित मामलों का शीघ्र निस्तारण करने और आवंटन प्रक्रिया में तेजी लाने के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जिन परियोजनाओं के लिए अतिरिक्त वित्तीय संसाधनों की आवश्यकता है, उनके प्रस्ताव तत्काल तैयार किए जाएं। उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि धन की कमी के कारण किसी भी विकास कार्य में देरी नहीं होनी चाहिए और सभी विभाग आपसी समन्वय के साथ परियोजनाओं को समयबद्ध तरीके से पूरा करें।
जिलाधिकारी ने विभिन्न परियोजनाओं की समीक्षा के दौरान भूमि मुआवजा विवाद से जुड़े 99 लंबित मामलों पर भी नाराजगी व्यक्त की। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को इन मामलों का शीघ्र निस्तारण सुनिश्चित करने और प्रभावित लोगों को समय पर राहत प्रदान करने के निर्देश दिए।
बैठक में मुख्य विकास अधिकारी (सीडीओ) गौरव कुमार, जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी (बीएसए), मुख्य चिकित्सा अधिकारी (सीएमओ) सहित कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। डीएम ने सभी अधिकारियों से जवाबदेही और कार्यकुशलता के साथ कार्य करने का आह्वान करते हुए जिले की समग्र रैंकिंग में सुधार लाने पर बल दिया।
