Governor Anandiben Patel Lays Foundation for Cloud Kitchen at Prayagraj Girls’ Home, Urges Young Survivors to Pursue Education with Determination

Prayagraj: Emphasising the transformative power of education, skill development and self-confidence, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Thursday encouraged girls living at the Government Girls’ Home in Khuldabad to pursue their dreams with determination, positive thinking and continuous hard work.

She said education and vocational training are the strongest tools for achieving self-reliance and building a dignified future.

During her visit to the Government Girls’ Home, which is run by the Women Welfare Department, the Governor inspected the facilities available for the residents and interacted with the girls to understand their educational, health, and rehabilitation needs.

She began her visit by reviewing a wide range of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs), artwork, craft items, educational models, miniature housing projects, and an AI-based healthcare model prepared by the girls, appreciating their creativity and practical learning.

Interacting with the residents, Anandiben Patel enquired about the various skill-development programmes being conducted at the institution, including cookery, yoga, gardening, tailoring, embroidery and handicrafts.

Motivating the girls to make the best use of these opportunities, she said success comes only through knowledge, discipline,e and specialised skills.

She urged every girl to undergo professional training with dedication so that they could become financially independent and confidently shape their own future.

The Governor later visited the common activity hall, where she examined handcrafted decorative products, fabric-based utility items, and other articles created by the girls.

She praised their craftsmanship and encouraged the institution to continue nurturing their creative abilities through practical training.

Holding a special interaction with girls who are survivors of offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Governor sought detailed information about their education, healthcare, counselling and vocational training.

She advised them to remain mentally and physically strong, adopt a positive outlook towards life,e and never allow difficult experiences to define their future.

Stressing the importance of good health, she encouraged them to maintain personal hygiene, consume nutritious food, and follow a disciplined daily routine. She also distributed sweets among the girls to boost their morale.

Meeting the teaching and support staff of the institution, Anandiben Patel emphasised the importance of providing quality education, emotional support, and strong moral values to every child residing at the home.

She appreciated the efforts of the caregivers and urged them to continue working with compassion and dedication for the holistic development of the children.

In a significant step towards strengthening vocational training and rehabilitation, the Governor laid the foundation stone for a Cloud Kitchen and a retail outlet at the Government Girls’ Home under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme of the Women Welfare Department.

The proposed facility is expected to provide practical training in food preparation, entrepreneurship, and business management while also creating livelihood opportunities for the residents.

The Governor also reviewed individual case files maintained for each girl living in the institution and personally gathered information about their educational progress, rehabilitation plans,s and overall well-being.

She underlined the need for continuous monitoring to ensure that every child receives proper care and guidance according to their individual requirements.

During another interaction in the common hall, Anandiben Patel once again examined educational models, handcrafted products, and Teaching Learning Materials prepared by the girls.

She sought detailed feedback on the quality of education, healthcare facilities, and other services available at the institution and shared valuable suggestions to further improve the overall environment.

Extending her interaction beyond the residents, the Governor met teachers, doctors, administrative staff, cooks,s and sanitation workers serving at the Girls’ Home.

She appreciated their contribution towards child welfare and advised them to continue working as a committed team dedicated to the physical, emotional, and educational development of the children.

Recognising academic achievement, Anandiben Patel presented Certificates of Encouragement to 18 girls who had successfully passed the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

She congratulated them on their perseverance and encouraged them to continue their education and pursue higher aspirations.

To conclude her visit, the Governor distributed snacks and chocolates among the girls and children residing at the institution, spending time with them in an atmosphere of warmth and encouragement.

The programme was attended by Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Professor Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya), University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Prayagraj District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, Chief Development Officer Harshika Singh, DCP City Manish Shandilya, Additional District Magistrates Vinita Singh and Upma Pandey, District Probation Officer Sarvjeet Singh, Basic Shiksha Adhikari Anil Kumar, CDPO Sanjita Singh, along with several senior officials.

शिक्षा, कौशल विकास और आत्मनिर्भरता को जीवन की सबसे बड़ी शक्ति बताते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश की राज्यपाल एवं राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों की कुलाधिपति श्रीमती आनंदीबेन पटेल ने गुरुवार को महिला कल्याण विभाग द्वारा संचालित राजकीय बालिका गृह, खुल्दाबाद का दौरा किया। उन्होंने वहां रह रही बालिकाओं से आत्मविश्वास, सकारात्मक सोच और दृढ़ संकल्प के साथ आगे बढ़ने का आह्वान करते हुए कहा कि शिक्षा और व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण ही सम्मानजनक एवं स्वावलंबी जीवन का सबसे मजबूत आधार हैं।

संस्थान पहुंचने पर राज्यपाल ने सबसे पहले बालिकाओं द्वारा तैयार किए गए टीचिंग लर्निंग मैटेरियल (टीएलएम), कलाकृतियों, हस्तशिल्प उत्पादों, विभिन्न प्रकार के आवासीय मॉडल तथा आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस आधारित हेल्थ केयर मॉडल का अवलोकन किया। उन्होंने बालिकाओं की रचनात्मकता और नवाचार की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की गतिविधियां उनके आत्मविश्वास और सीखने की क्षमता को नई दिशा देती हैं।

बालिकाओं से संवाद के दौरान राज्यपाल ने संस्था में संचालित पाक कला, योग, बागवानी, सिलाई-कढ़ाई, हस्तशिल्प एवं अन्य कौशल प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों की विस्तृत जानकारी ली। उन्होंने कहा कि जीवन में आगे बढ़ने के लिए शिक्षा के साथ किसी एक क्षेत्र में विशेषज्ञता हासिल करना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने सभी बालिकाओं को पूरे समर्पण के साथ प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

इसके बाद उन्होंने कॉमन हॉल में प्रदर्शित कपड़ों से तैयार सजावटी एवं उपयोगी वस्तुओं सहित अन्य हस्तनिर्मित उत्पादों का अवलोकन किया। बालिकाओं की मेहनत और सृजनात्मक क्षमता की प्रशंसा करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम भविष्य में उनके रोजगार और स्वरोजगार का मजबूत आधार बन सकते हैं।

राज्यपाल ने पॉक्सो (POCSO) मामलों से प्रभावित बालिकाओं से अलग से मुलाकात कर उनकी शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, परामर्श सेवाओं और प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों की जानकारी प्राप्त की। उन्होंने बालिकाओं को मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से मजबूत रहने, जीवन के प्रति सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण अपनाने तथा कठिन परिस्थितियों से संघर्ष कर आगे बढ़ने का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने स्वच्छता, संतुलित एवं पौष्टिक भोजन तथा नियमित दिनचर्या को स्वस्थ जीवन का आधार बताते हुए सभी को इन आदतों को अपनाने की सलाह दी। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने बालिकाओं को मिष्ठान भी वितरित किया।

संस्था की शिक्षिकाओं और महिला कर्मचारियों से बातचीत करते हुए राज्यपाल ने कहा कि बालिकाओं को केवल औपचारिक शिक्षा ही नहीं, बल्कि अच्छे संस्कार, आत्मविश्वास और सुरक्षित वातावरण भी उपलब्ध कराया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने सभी कर्मचारियों के कार्यों की सराहना करते हुए बच्चों के समग्र विकास के लिए संवेदनशीलता और समर्पण के साथ कार्य करने का आह्वान किया।

महिला कल्याण विभाग की मिशन वात्सल्य योजना के अंतर्गत राज्यपाल ने राजकीय बालिका गृह परिसर में क्लाउड किचन और आउटलेट निर्माण की आधारशिला रखी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह परियोजना बालिकाओं को पाक कला, उद्यमिता और व्यवसाय संचालन का व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण देने के साथ-साथ उन्हें भविष्य में रोजगार एवं स्वरोजगार के नए अवसर उपलब्ध कराने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगी।

दौरे के दौरान राज्यपाल ने संस्था में रह रही प्रत्येक बालिका की व्यक्तिगत पत्रावली का भी अवलोकन किया तथा उनके शैक्षणिक स्तर, स्वास्थ्य, पुनर्वास और भविष्य की योजनाओं की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि प्रत्येक बालिका की व्यक्तिगत आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप नियमित निगरानी और समुचित मार्गदर्शन सुनिश्चित किया जाए।

कॉमन हॉल में आयोजित एक अन्य संवाद कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने एक बार फिर बालिकाओं द्वारा तैयार किए गए शिक्षण सामग्री, हस्तनिर्मित उत्पादों और अन्य रचनात्मक गतिविधियों का निरीक्षण किया। साथ ही शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, पोषण और अन्य सुविधाओं की समीक्षा करते हुए संस्था के समग्र विकास के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव दिए।

राज्यपाल ने संस्था में कार्यरत शिक्षकों, चिकित्सकों, प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों, रसोइयों, सफाई कर्मचारियों तथा अन्य कर्मियों से भी बातचीत की। उन्होंने बच्चों की देखभाल, शिक्षा और पुनर्वास में उनके योगदान की सराहना करते हुए सभी से समर्पण और संवेदनशीलता के साथ कार्य करते रहने का आह्वान किया।

शैक्षणिक उपलब्धियों को प्रोत्साहित करते हुए राज्यपाल ने राष्ट्रीय मुक्त विद्यालयी शिक्षा संस्थान (एनआईओएस) के माध्यम से दसवीं और बारहवीं की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाली 18 बालिकाओं को प्रोत्साहन प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किए। उन्होंने बालिकाओं की लगन की सराहना करते हुए उन्हें उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने और जीवन में नई उपलब्धियां हासिल करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

दौरे के अंत में राज्यपाल ने बालिका गृह में रह रही बच्चियों और अन्य बच्चों को स्नैक्स के पैकेट तथा चॉकलेट वितरित कर उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया और उनके साथ आत्मीय संवाद भी किया।

इस अवसर पर प्रदेश के औद्योगिक विकास मंत्री नंद गोपाल गुप्ता ‘नंदी’, प्रोफेसर राजेंद्र सिंह (रज्जू भैया) विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) अखिलेश कुमार सिंह, जिलाधिकारी मनीष कुमार वर्मा, मुख्य विकास अधिकारी हर्षिका सिंह, डीसीपी नगर मनीष शांडिल्य, अपर जिलाधिकारी विनीता सिंह एवं उपमा पांडेय, जिला प्रोबेशन अधिकारी सर्वजीत सिंह, जिला बेसिक शिक्षा अधिकारी अनिल कुमार, सीडीपीओ संजिता सिंह सहित अनेक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
