Prayagraj, September 2: A meeting of the Kesarwani Vaishya Samiti, Rajapur, was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Satish Chandra Gupta, with members discussing organisational matters as well as the community’s participation in the upcoming Shri Krishna Dadhikando Mela scheduled for September 20.
The meeting was conducted by Pramil Kesarwani, who placed before the members various issues concerning the functioning of the organisation and preparations for the forthcoming religious event.
A key focus of the gathering was the selection of new office-bearers for the committee and discussions on the community’s traditional chauki to be taken out as part of the Dadhikando celebrations.
The meeting reflected the community’s efforts to maintain its organisational activities while remaining connected with the religious and cultural traditions associated with the festival.
New Team Chosen to Strengthen Community Organisation
During the meeting, members finalised the new team of office-bearers. Sangam Lal Kesarwani, Advocate, High Court, was selected for the post of president of the Kesarwani Vaishya Samiti, while Manish Gupta was chosen as the general secretary.
The members also finalised those who will coordinate the community’s chauki for the forthcoming Dadhikando Mela.
Brij Lal Kesarwani and Subhash Kesarwani were selected as chauki conveners.
The new team also includes Ranjit Gupta, Premchand Gupta and Shiv Prasad Kesarwani, who were selected as vice-presidents.
The selection of the new office-bearers is expected to give fresh impetus to the organisation’s community activities and coordination, particularly as preparations for the September 20 religious celebrations gather momentum.
Preparations for September 20 Dadhikando Mela Discussed
A substantial part of the meeting was devoted to the community’s participation in the Shri Krishna Dadhikando Mela. Members discussed arrangements for taking out the traditional chauki and ensuring active participation of the Kesarwani community in the celebrations.
Such participation carries significance beyond the organisation of a procession or community display.
Religious fairs associated with Lord Krishna provide an opportunity for devotees and local communities to come together in an atmosphere of faith, celebration and cultural continuity.

With the new office-bearers now selected and preparations for the September 20 Dadhikando Mela underway, the Kesarwani Vaishya Samiti is expected to focus on coordinating the community’s participation and ensuring that its traditional chauki becomes an integral part of the religious celebrations in Rajapur.

प्रयागराज, 2 सितंबर: राजापुर स्थित श्री केसरवानी वैश्य समिति की महत्वपूर्ण बैठक बुधवार को समिति के वरिष्ठ सदस्य सतीश चंद्र गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में संपन्न हुई। बैठक का संचालन प्रमिल केसरवानी ने किया।
इस दौरान समिति के संगठनात्मक विस्तार और नई जिम्मेदारियों के निर्धारण के साथ-साथ आगामी 20 सितंबर को आयोजित होने वाले श्रीकृष्ण दधिकांदो मेले में समाज की भागीदारी को लेकर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।
बैठक में विशेष रूप से समाज की ओर से मेले में पारंपरिक चौकी उठाने की तैयारियों पर विचार-विमर्श हुआ। सदस्यों ने आयोजन को व्यवस्थित और गरिमापूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न कराने के लिए आपसी समन्वय पर जोर दिया।
बैठक में नई पदाधिकारियों की जिम्मेदारियां तय होने के बाद समिति के आगामी कार्यक्रमों और सामाजिक गतिविधियों को गति मिलने की उम्मीद जताई गई।

बैठक के दौरान समिति के नए पदाधिकारियों का चयन किया गया। हाईकोर्ट के अधिवक्ता संगम लाल केसरवानी को श्री केसरवानी वैश्य समिति का अध्यक्ष चुना गया। वहीं मनीष गुप्ता को महामंत्री की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई।
दधिकांदो मेले में समाज की ओर से निकाली जाने वाली पारंपरिक चौकी के संचालन और समन्वय के लिए बृजलाल केसरवानी तथा सुभाष केसरवानी को चौकी संयोजक चुना गया।
इसके अलावा रंजीत गुप्ता, प्रेमचंद गुप्ता और शिवप्रसाद केसरवानी को उपाध्यक्ष की जिम्मेदारी दी गई।
नई जिम्मेदारियां तय किए जाने के साथ ही बैठक में समिति के सामाजिक एवं सामुदायिक कार्यों को अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से आगे बढ़ाने की आवश्यकता पर भी चर्चा हुई।
विशेष रूप से आगामी धार्मिक आयोजन को देखते हुए सदस्यों के बीच बेहतर तालमेल बनाए रखने पर जोर दिया गया।

बैठक का एक प्रमुख विषय आगामी श्रीकृष्ण दधिकांदो मेला रहा। 20 सितंबर को होने वाले इस धार्मिक आयोजन में केसरवानी समाज की ओर से पारंपरिक चौकी उठाने को लेकर तैयारियों पर चर्चा की गई।
चौकी केवल किसी धार्मिक जुलूस का हिस्सा नहीं होती, बल्कि इसके माध्यम से समाज अपनी धार्मिक आस्था, सांस्कृतिक पहचान और सामुदायिक सहभागिता को भी प्रदर्शित करता है।

नई जिम्मेदारियों के निर्धारण और 20 सितंबर के दधिकांदो मेले में समाज की चौकी को लेकर चर्चा के बाद समिति के सामने अब आयोजन से जुड़ी तैयारियों को अंतिम रूप देने की जिम्मेदारी है।
बैठक ने एक ओर संगठन को नई कार्यकारिणी दी, वहीं दूसरी ओर श्रीकृष्ण की भक्ति और सनातन सांस्कृतिक परंपरा से जुड़े दधिकांदो उत्सव में केसरवानी समाज की सक्रिय भागीदारी का मार्ग भी प्रशस्त किया।
