PM Modi Calls for Foolproof Exam System, Seeks Toughest Action Against NEET Paper Leak Accused
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for the creation of a completely secure examination system to eliminate the possibility of question paper leaks, asserting that safeguarding the future of students must remain the country’s foremost priority.
Addressing a meeting of the NDA Parliamentary Party leaders on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said the issue of examination integrity should rise above political differences and be treated as a matter of national importance.
He urged Members of Parliament to directly engage with students across the country, reassure them about the government’s commitment and prevent misinformation from taking root.
Speaking on the alleged NEET-UG question paper leak, Modi said those responsible would face the harshest legal consequences.
Emphasising the need for strict accountability, he reportedly said that every individual involved in the crime must be identified and punished without exception.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the Prime Minister had directed authorities to establish a foolproof mechanism that would permanently prevent examination paper leaks.
According to Rijiju, the Centre acted immediately after reports of irregularities surfaced, leading to the arrest and imprisonment of 13 accused persons.
He said the government simultaneously ensured that the academic future of students did not suffer.
The NEET re-examination was conducted on priority, completed successfully, and its results were declared without unnecessary delay so that students could continue with the admission process.
Rijiju further stated that the Prime Minister favoured the strongest possible legal action against those behind the examination leak.
He said Modi stressed that the country’s best legal experts should be involved to ensure exemplary punishment, sending a clear message that such offences would not be tolerated in the future.
Highlighting the need for collective responsibility, the Prime Minister reportedly said preventing examination malpractice requires close coordination between the Centre and all state governments, irrespective of political affiliations.
Since the issue concerns the aspirations of millions of young people, he said, it should never become a subject of partisan confrontation.
Sources present at the meeting said Modi acknowledged that the paper leak had caused distress and inconvenience to students but noted that the re-examination had been organised swiftly to minimise disruption.
He also remarked that strict punishment would help restore confidence among students and strengthen public faith in the examination system.
The Prime Minister appealed to NDA parliamentarians to maintain regular interaction with students, observing that young people can easily be influenced by misleading narratives.
He urged elected representatives to guide them with accurate information and constructive engagement.
During the meeting, Modi also lauded the successful rocket launch by Skyroot Aerospace, describing it as a shining example of the innovation, talent and entrepreneurial spirit of India’s youth and emerging start-ups.
In an apparent political jibe without naming anyone, the Prime Minister contrasted the achievements of young entrepreneurs with certain senior political leaders, saying their accomplishments at a young age reflected the immense potential of India’s new generation.
Meanwhile, the aftermath of Monday’s protest march continued to dominate political discourse.
Police had used tear gas and baton charges to stop thousands of demonstrators attempting to march towards Parliament on the opening day of the Monsoon Session, leaving several protesters injured.
On Tuesday, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College and Hospital to enquire about the condition of those injured during the protests.
After interacting with doctors and reviewing the medical care being provided, he expressed satisfaction with the treatment and said hospital authorities had briefed him in detail about the condition and management of the injured patients.

नई दिल्ली: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की विश्वसनीयता बनाए रखने के लिए ऐसी पूरी तरह सुरक्षित व्यवस्था विकसित करने का आह्वान किया है, जिससे भविष्य में प्रश्नपत्र लीक जैसी घटनाओं की कोई गुंजाइश न रहे।
उन्होंने कहा कि देश के युवाओं का भविष्य सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है और परीक्षा प्रणाली की निष्पक्षता से किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता स्वीकार नहीं किया जा सकता।
मंगलवार को एनडीए संसदीय दल के नेताओं की बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि परीक्षा से जुड़े मुद्दों को राजनीतिक लाभ-हानि के नजरिए से नहीं बल्कि राष्ट्रीय महत्व के विषय के रूप में देखा जाना चाहिए।
उन्होंने सांसदों से विद्यार्थियों के बीच जाकर संवाद स्थापित करने, उन्हें सही जानकारी देने और भ्रम फैलाने की कोशिशों को रोकने का आग्रह किया।
NEET-UG प्रश्नपत्र लीक मामले का उल्लेख करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि इस साजिश में शामिल किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि दोषियों की पहचान कर प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को कानून के अनुसार सबसे कड़ी सजा दिलाई जानी चाहिए ताकि भविष्य में ऐसी घटनाओं की पुनरावृत्ति न हो।
बैठक के बाद संसदीय कार्य मंत्री किरेन रिजिजू ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि ऐसी अभेद्य परीक्षा व्यवस्था तैयार की जाए जिससे आगे किसी भी परीक्षा का प्रश्नपत्र लीक न हो सके।
उन्होंने कहा कि जैसे ही मामले की जानकारी मिली, सरकार ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए 13 आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया।
रिजिजू ने बताया कि सरकार ने समानांतर रूप से यह भी सुनिश्चित किया कि विद्यार्थियों की पढ़ाई और प्रवेश प्रक्रिया प्रभावित न हो। इसी उद्देश्य से NEET की पुनर्परीक्षा को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर आयोजित किया गया, उसे सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न कराया गया और परिणाम भी बिना विलंब घोषित किए गए।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ने यह भी निर्देश दिया कि इस मामले की प्रभावी पैरवी के लिए देश के सर्वोत्तम विधि विशेषज्ञों की सहायता ली जाए, ताकि दोषियों को ऐसी मिसाल कायम करने वाली सजा मिले जिससे भविष्य में कोई भी इस प्रकार का अपराध करने का साहस न कर सके।
प्रधानमंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि परीक्षा में अनियमितताओं पर रोक लगाने के लिए केंद्र और सभी राज्यों को राजनीतिक मतभेदों से ऊपर उठकर मिलकर काम करना होगा। उनके अनुसार यह विषय करोड़ों युवाओं के भविष्य से जुड़ा है, इसलिए इसे दलगत राजनीति का माध्यम नहीं बनाया जाना चाहिए।
बैठक में मौजूद सूत्रों के अनुसार प्रधानमंत्री ने स्वीकार किया कि प्रश्नपत्र लीक की घटना से विद्यार्थियों को कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा, लेकिन सरकार ने त्वरित कदम उठाते हुए पुनर्परीक्षा कराकर स्थिति को शीघ्र सामान्य बनाने का प्रयास किया। उन्होंने कहा कि दोषियों को कठोर दंड मिलने से छात्रों का विश्वास और परीक्षा प्रणाली की विश्वसनीयता दोनों मजबूत होंगे।
उन्होंने एनडीए सांसदों से विद्यार्थियों के साथ नियमित संवाद बनाए रखने का भी आग्रह किया। प्रधानमंत्री का कहना था कि युवा वर्ग को आसानी से गुमराह किया जा सकता है, इसलिए जनप्रतिनिधियों की जिम्मेदारी है कि वे उन्हें सही दिशा और तथ्यात्मक जानकारी उपलब्ध कराएं।
बैठक के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री ने स्काईरूट एयरोस्पेस की सफल रॉकेट लॉन्चिंग की भी सराहना की। उन्होंने इसे देश के युवा उद्यमियों, नवाचार और स्टार्टअप संस्कृति की उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि बताते हुए कहा कि भारत के युवा वैश्विक स्तर पर अपनी प्रतिभा का परिचय दे रहे हैं।
इसी क्रम में उन्होंने बिना किसी का नाम लिए विपक्ष पर परोक्ष टिप्पणी भी की और कहा कि देश के युवा उद्यमियों की उपलब्धियां उनकी असाधारण क्षमता का प्रमाण हैं तथा नई पीढ़ी भारत के भविष्य को नई दिशा देने में सक्षम है।
उधर, सोमवार को संसद के मानसून सत्र के पहले दिन संसद की ओर बढ़ रहे हजारों प्रदर्शनकारियों को रोकने के लिए पुलिस द्वारा आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े गए और लाठीचार्ज किया गया था, जिसमें कई प्रदर्शनकारी घायल हो गए।
मंगलवार को केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जेपी नड्डा ने डॉ. राम मनोहर लोहिया अस्पताल तथा लेडी हार्डिंग मेडिकल कॉलेज एवं अस्पताल पहुंचकर घायलों की हालचाल जाननी।
चिकित्सकों से उपचार की जानकारी लेने के बाद उन्होंने कहा कि अस्पतालों में घायलों का समुचित इलाज किया जा रहा है और वे उपलब्ध कराई जा रही चिकित्सा व्यवस्था से संतुष्ट हैं।
