Prayagraj Land Dispute: BKU (Tikait Group) Youth State President Anuj Singh Booked in 10 FIRs Over Alleged Illegal Plotting and Extortion
Prayagraj: The legal troubles of Anuj Singh, the Uttar Pradesh president of the youth wing of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait Group), have intensified after multiple criminal cases were registered against him at Dhoomanganj Police Station.
Police have lodged 10 separate FIRs, accusing him and his associates of offences including alleged illegal plotting, land grabbing, intimidation and extortion. Officials said further legal action is being taken based on the complaints received.
According to the police, the cases were filed following a complaint submitted by Lekhpal Manish Kumar. The FIR names Raj Kumar Kanjaniya, Mohammed Shakeel, Shahid, Anuj Singh, and several unidentified persons.
The complainant alleged that plots were carved out and construction activities were carried out without obtaining the required map approval from the competent authorities.
Investigators further alleged that nearly four bighas of land were illegally occupied in the Peepalgaon–Sarai area under the limits of Dhoomanganj police station.
The complaint states that the land originally belonged to Ahmed, Yunus, Saira, Pankaj, Anuj Singh, and five to six other individuals.
Police claim that after the death of the original owners, the land was allegedly encroached upon and divided into plots without following legal procedures. An FIR has been registered in connection with these allegations.
Another complaint relates to the alleged encroachment of nearly 30 bighas of land. A resident of Peepalgaon–Sarai alleged that around 30 temporary structures and shops had been constructed on the disputed property.
Based on the complaint, Dhoomanganj police registered another case. Investigators also alleged that on June 27, Sanjay Yadav, accompanied by 15 to 20 people, reached the site with earth-moving equipment and allegedly threatened those who opposed the activity.
Police officials stated that the investigation is continuing and all allegations are being examined in accordance with the law.
Authorities are also looking into claims that encroachments had already taken place on several plots before the alleged illegal plotting and construction activities were carried out.

प्रयागराज: भारतीय किसान यूनियन (टिकैत गुट) के युवा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अनुज सिंह की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं। धूमनगंज थाने में उनके और उनके सहयोगियों के खिलाफ 10 अलग-अलग एफआईआर दर्ज की गई हैं।
पुलिस के अनुसार इन मामलों में कथित अवैध प्लॉटिंग, भूमि पर कब्जा, रंगदारी मांगने, धमकी देने तथा अन्य संबंधित आरोप शामिल हैं। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि प्राप्त शिकायतों के आधार पर कानूनी कार्रवाई आगे बढ़ाई जा रही है।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, ये मुकदमे लेखपाल मनीष कुमार की तहरीर पर दर्ज किए गए हैं। प्राथमिकी में राज कुमार कंजनिया, मोहम्मद शकील, शाहिद, अनुज सिंह तथा अन्य अज्ञात लोगों को नामजद किया गया है। शिकायत में आरोप लगाया गया है कि सक्षम प्राधिकारी से नक्शा स्वीकृत कराए बिना प्लॉट काटे गए और निर्माण कार्य कराया गया।
जांच में यह भी आरोप सामने आया है कि धूमनगंज थाना क्षेत्र के पीपलगांव–सराय इलाके में लगभग चार बीघा जमीन पर अवैध कब्जा किया गया। शिकायत के अनुसार इस भूमि के अहमद, यूनुस, साइरा, पंकज, अनुज सिंह तथा पाँच-छह अन्य लोगों के नाम दर्ज थे।
आरोप है कि मूल मालिकों की मृत्यु के बाद जमीन पर कथित रूप से कब्जा कर उसे प्लॉटों में विभाजित कर दिया गया। इस मामले में भी पुलिस ने एफआईआर दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है।
एक अन्य शिकायत में लगभग 30 बीघा भूमि पर अतिक्रमण का आरोप लगाया गया है। पीपलगांव–सराय निवासी शिकायतकर्ता ने कहा कि विवादित जमीन पर करीब 30 अस्थायी मकान और दुकानें बना दी गईं।
इस आधार पर धूमनगंज पुलिस ने एक और मामला दर्ज किया है। आरोप यह भी है कि 27 जून को संजय यादव 15 से 20 लोगों के साथ जेसीबी लेकर मौके पर पहुंचे और विरोध करने वालों को कथित रूप से धमकाया।
फिलहाल पुलिस का कहना है कि सभी मामलों की विस्तृत जांच की जा रही है और प्रत्येक आरोप की कानूनी प्रक्रिया के तहत पुष्टि की जाएगी।
अधिकारियों ने यह भी बताया कि यह जांच की जा रही है कि कथित अवैध प्लॉटिंग और निर्माण कार्य शुरू होने से पहले संबंधित भूखंडों पर पहले से किसी प्रकार का अतिक्रमण तो नहीं था।
