Prayagraj Shines in CISCE Results: Lakshita Kushwaha and Nishkarsh Gupta Lead with Near-Perfect Scores, Many Cross 99%
Prayagraj, often referred to as the “Sangam City,” has once again taken pride in the remarkable achievements of its students. The results of the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE – Class 10) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC – Class 12), declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, have highlighted the city’s academic excellence, with students delivering outstanding performances.
Among the top achievers, Lakshita Kushwaha from Girls’ High School and College secured an impressive 99.20 percent in the ICSE (Class 10) examination, setting an inspiring benchmark. In the ISC (Class 12) Science stream,
Nishkarsh Gupta from St. Joseph’s College scored an exceptional 99.25 percent, bringing laurels to the city.
The success was not limited to individual toppers.
Several students crossed the remarkable 99 percent mark, showcasing a consistent trend of academic brilliance. Schools across Prayagraj also reported excellent overall results.
At Boys’ High School and College, 314 students appeared for the ISC examination, out of which 44 scored above 90 percent.
In ICSE, 108 out of 492 students secured 90 percent or higher, reflecting the institution’s strong academic standards.
IPEM International School also recorded commendable results. Around 70 percent of ISC students scored above 80 percent, while in ICSE, more than 78 percent of students achieved over 80 percent marks.
Students of St. John’s Academy, Karchana, delivered equally impressive performances. Out of 138 ICSE candidates, 27 scored above 90 percent.
Notably, Kavyansh Thakur achieved a perfect score of 100 in multiple subjects, including English, Computer Applications, History & Civics, Chemistry, and Biology—an extraordinary accomplishment. In ISC, 18 out of 87 students secured over 90 percent marks.
Following the announcement of the results, a wave of joy and celebration swept through schools across the city.
Students shared their success with teachers and parents, marking the culmination of months of dedication and hard work.
These achievements not only reflect the determination and discipline of the students but also underline Prayagraj’s strong academic culture.
