CISCE Results 2026: Lakshita Scores 99.2% in ICSE, Nishkarsh Tops ISC with 99.25%; Pass Percentage Exceeds 99% Nationwide

New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations announced the results of the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations on Thursday morning, bringing relief and celebration to lakhs of students and their families across the country.

Continuing its tradition of strong academic outcomes, the board recorded an overall pass percentage exceeding 99% in both examinations.

According to official data, 99.18% of students cleared the ICSE (Class 10) examination, while the pass percentage for ISC (Class 12) stood at 99.13%.

A total of 2,58,721 students appeared for the Class 10 exams this year, with only 2,131 candidates unable to qualify. In Class 12, out of 1,03,316 students who appeared, 902 did not pass.

Girls once again outperformed boys in both examinations. In ICSE, the pass percentage for girls stood at 99.46%, compared to 98.93% for boys.

Similarly, in ISC, 99.48% of girls cleared the examination, while the pass percentage for boys was slightly lower at 98.81%.

A closer look at category-wise performance reveals consistently high success rates across all groups.

In ICSE, students from the general category recorded a pass percentage of 99.26%, followed closely by Other Backward Classes (OBC) at 99.24%. Scheduled Castes (SC) achieved a pass percentage of 98.76%, while Scheduled Tribes (ST) recorded 98.07%.

The results also reflect a noticeable improvement compared to the previous year, particularly in the Delhi-NCR region.

In ICSE, around 6,400 students from 55 schools in Delhi appeared for the examination, out of which an impressive 99.78% passed—an increase of 0.07% over last year.

Similarly, ISC results in Delhi-NCR showed strong performance, with 3,547 students from 45 schools appearing for the examination. Of these, 99.66% successfully cleared the exams, further reinforcing the region’s steady academic progress.

Amid these national trends, standout individual performances added to the celebratory mood. Lakshita from Girls’ High School (GHS) secured 99.2% in ICSE, while Nishkarsh from St. Joseph’s College (SJC), Prayagraj, achieved an outstanding 99.25% in ISC, emerging as top performers.

The announcement of results has sparked joy and pride among students, parents, and educators alike, marking the culmination of months of dedication, discipline, and perseverance.
