Ram Temple Donation Theft Case: Champat Rai’s Resignation Likely to Be Discussed at Trust Meeting
Speculation over changes within the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has intensified following the alleged donation theft at the Ram Temple.
According to sources associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), discussions are underway regarding the future role of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai.
Senior functionaries are reportedly carrying out a detailed assessment before arriving at any conclusion.
The Trust’s scheduled meeting at Maniram Das Chhawani on July 6 is expected to take up the issue.
Sources indicate that Champat Rai’s resignation may also come up for consideration during the deliberations, although no official confirmation has been issued so far.
Police May Seek Custody Remand After Filing Remand Application on Monday
Investigators are likely to move a remand application on Monday seeking custody remand of two of the five accused arrested in connection with the donation theft case.
However, police officials are expected to first strengthen their case using evidence gathered during the initial round of questioning before approaching the court.
Based on the investigating officer’s application, the court has already approved judicial custody for all five accused.
Among them, Avinash Shukla has been sent to the district jail, while the remaining four have been lodged in Naini Central Jail under judicial remand.
Officials believe custodial interrogation could help uncover the complete conspiracy behind the theft.
Police suspect the accused may have disposed of stolen cash and ornaments at different locations, making recovery difficult without sustained questioning.
Investigators are also trying to establish the role of each accused individually. During interrogation, the suspects reportedly gave conflicting statements regarding the missing valuables, prompting police to seek further custody for detailed questioning.
Authorities have indicated that several crucial aspects of the case remain unresolved.
Police are examining where the stolen money was hidden and whether the accused had assistance from others.
Efforts are also underway to recover the missing donation amount and identify every person linked to the alleged conspiracy.
Bhagwat’s ‘Ram-Ram’ Remark Sparks Discussion

किसी भी निर्णय से पहले वरिष्ठ पदाधिकारी पूरे मामले का गहन मूल्यांकन कर रहे हैं।
बताया जा रहा है कि 6 जुलाई को मणिराम दास छावनी में होने वाली ट्रस्ट की बैठक में इस विषय पर चर्चा हो सकती है।
सूत्रों का कहना है कि बैठक के दौरान चंपत राय के संभावित इस्तीफे का मुद्दा भी उठ सकता है, हालांकि अभी तक इसकी कोई आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई है।

दान चोरी मामले की जांच कर रही पुलिस सोमवार को अदालत में रिमांड प्रार्थना पत्र प्रस्तुत कर दो आरोपियों की पुलिस कस्टडी रिमांड की मांग कर सकती है।
हालांकि इससे पहले जांच टीम प्रारंभिक पूछताछ से मिले साक्ष्यों को और मजबूत करने में जुटी हुई है ताकि अदालत के समक्ष ठोस आधार रखा जा सके।
जांच अधिकारी की ओर से प्रस्तुत आवेदन पर अदालत पहले ही सभी पांचों आरोपियों को न्यायिक अभिरक्षा में भेज चुकी है।
इनमें अविनाश शुक्ला को जिला कारागार भेजा गया है, जबकि अन्य चार आरोपियों को नैनी केंद्रीय कारागार में न्यायिक हिरासत के तहत रखा गया है।

अधिकारियों का कहना है कि सभी आरोपियों की भूमिका अलग-अलग स्तर पर खंगाली जा रही है। पूछताछ के दौरान उनके बयानों में कई विरोधाभास सामने आए हैं, जिसके चलते पुलिस विस्तृत पूछताछ के लिए अतिरिक्त हिरासत की आवश्यकता महसूस कर रही है।
जांच एजेंसियों के अनुसार मामले के कई महत्वपूर्ण पहलुओं से अभी पर्दा उठना बाकी है। पुलिस यह पता लगाने में जुटी है कि चोरी की गई धनराशि कहां छिपाई गई और क्या इस वारदात में अन्य लोगों की भी भूमिका रही।
साथ ही गायब दान राशि की बरामदगी और पूरे षड्यंत्र से जुड़े प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की पहचान करने के प्रयास जारी हैं।

नागपुर में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान आरएसएस प्रमुख मोहन भागवत की एक टिप्पणी सोशल मीडिया पर चर्चा का विषय बन गई। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई किसी का हालचाल पूछे, तो केवल “ठीक हूं” कहने के बजाय “राम-राम” कहना अधिक सार्थक और आत्मीय अभिव्यक्ति है।
