Seven Unregistered Coaching Centres Identified in Prayagraj, Notices Issued for Rule Violations
Prayagraj: The inspection campaign launched in the wake of the recent coaching institute fire in Lucknow has uncovered seven coaching centres operating without mandatory registration in Sadar tehsil of Prayagraj.
The action was taken during a joint inspection conducted by the District School Inspector (DIOS) office and the Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA).
Following the findings, notices have been issued to the managements of all seven institutions, directing them to complete the registration process and comply with the prescribed norms.
During the inspection, officials visited several coaching institutes functioning in different parts of the city.
Among those found operating without registration were Premier Institute on Elgin Road, Shukla Academy, KP Coaching College, an institute located on MG Marg, and Ready IAS.
Authorities also found that another institute was operating near the University Library Gate without completing the required registration formalities. Officials recorded these violations and initiated the prescribed administrative action.
District School Inspector Dr. Santosh Kumar Rai said that formal notices have been served to the operators of all seven coaching institutes.
The notices instruct them to immediately comply with the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Coaching Regulation Act, 2002, and the Uttar Pradesh Coaching Regulation Rules, 2026.
If the institutions fail to meet the legal requirements within the stipulated time, strict legal action will be initiated against them under the applicable laws.
Officials also clarified that the institutions have not been sealed at this stage. However, failure to comply with the directions issued in the notices could lead to further regulatory action.
The inspection drive is aimed at ensuring that coaching institutes operate within the legal framework and provide students with a safe and properly regulated learning environment.
According to Sudhanshu Mishra, Coordinator of the District School Inspector’s Office, the coaching institutes were unable to obtain registration earlier due to a lack of complete information regarding the process.
He said that the registration portal has now been opened, allowing coaching operators to submit their applications. Institutions have been advised to complete the registration process without delay to avoid legal consequences.

प्रयागराज: लखनऊ में कोचिंग संस्थान में हुई अग्निकांड की घटना के बाद शुरू किए गए विशेष जांच अभियान के दौरान प्रयागराज के सदर तहसील क्षेत्र में सात ऐसे कोचिंग संस्थान चिन्हित किए गए, जो अनिवार्य पंजीकरण के बिना संचालित हो रहे थे।
जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक (डीआईओएस) कार्यालय और प्रयागराज विकास प्राधिकरण (पीडीए) की संयुक्त जांच के दौरान यह तथ्य सामने आया। इसके बाद सभी सात संस्थानों के संचालकों को नोटिस जारी कर निर्धारित नियमों का पालन करते हुए शीघ्र पंजीकरण कराने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
निरीक्षण अभियान के दौरान अधिकारियों ने शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में संचालित कई कोचिंग संस्थानों का निरीक्षण किया। जांच में एल्गिन रोड स्थित प्रीमियर इंस्टीट्यूट, शुक्ला एकेडमी, केपी कोचिंग कॉलेज, एमजी मार्ग पर संचालित एक संस्थान तथा रेडी आईएएस समेत कई कोचिंग केन्द्र बिना आवश्यक पंजीकरण के संचालित पाए गए।
इसके अलावा यूनिवर्सिटी लाइब्रेरी गेट के सामने स्थित एक अन्य संस्थान भी निर्धारित पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया पूरी किए बिना संचालित होता मिला। अधिकारियों ने इन सभी मामलों को दर्ज करते हुए नियमानुसार कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी।
जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक डॉ. संतोष कुमार राय ने बताया कि सभी सात कोचिंग संस्थानों के संचालकों को औपचारिक नोटिस जारी कर दिए गए हैं।
नोटिस में उन्हें उत्तर प्रदेश कोचिंग विनियमन अधिनियम, 2002 तथा उत्तर प्रदेश कोचिंग विनियमन नियमावली, 2026 के प्रावधानों का पालन करने और शीघ्र पंजीकरण की प्रक्रिया पूरी करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।
यदि निर्धारित अवधि के भीतर नियमों का अनुपालन नहीं किया गया, तो संबंधित संस्थानों के विरुद्ध विधिक प्रावधानों के तहत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि फिलहाल किसी भी कोचिंग संस्थान को सील नहीं किया गया है। हालांकि, नोटिस में दिए गए निर्देशों की अनदेखी करने वाले संस्थानों के खिलाफ आगे नियामकीय और कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
प्रशासन का उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि सभी कोचिंग संस्थान निर्धारित कानूनी व्यवस्था के तहत संचालित हों और विद्यार्थियों को सुरक्षित एवं मानक आधारित शिक्षण वातावरण उपलब्ध कराया जाए।
जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षक कार्यालय के समन्वयक सुधांशु मिश्रा ने बताया कि आवश्यक जानकारी के अभाव में कई कोचिंग संस्थान पहले अपना पंजीकरण नहीं करा सके थे।
अब पंजीकरण के लिए ऑनलाइन पोर्टल खोल दिया गया है, जिसके माध्यम से संचालक आवेदन कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने सभी संस्थानों से अपील की कि वे बिना किसी देरी के पंजीकरण की प्रक्रिया पूरी करें, ताकि भविष्य में किसी प्रकार की कानूनी कार्रवाई का सामना न करना पड़े।
