Prayagraj Police to Update Land Mafia List, Intensify Crackdown on Encroachments
Prayagraj: The district administration has decided to step up its campaign against land mafia by strengthening enforcement measures across the district.
The decision was taken during a district-level meeting of the Anti-Land Mafia Task Force held at the Police Lines auditorium.
The meeting was chaired by Police Commissioner Jogendra Kumar and District Magistrate Manish Kumar Varma, who directed officials to accelerate action against individuals involved in illegal land occupation and related offences.
During the meeting, senior officials were instructed to ensure strict implementation of the state government’s directions on tackling land encroachment.
Departments concerned were asked to identify illegal occupations on government and private land and initiate prompt legal action wherever violations are found.
Authorities were also directed to take effective steps to prevent fresh encroachments and protect public property.
Officials reviewed the progress made in previous cases and discussed measures to strengthen the ongoing drive against land mafias.
The administration decided that action would not be limited to removing illegal occupations alone.
Cases involving illegal possession of land, unlawful plotting, fraudulent property transactions, forcible occupation, gang-related offences, and other criminal activities linked to land grabbing will also be pursued under the relevant legal provisions to ensure strict punishment for offenders.
The Police Commissioner and the District Magistrate also instructed officials to review and update the existing list of identified land mafias.
Agencies were asked to verify old records, include the names of newly identified offenders, and remove individuals who no longer meet the criteria after due verification.
The authorities stressed that maintaining an updated database would help improve monitoring and facilitate faster action against repeat offenders.
Addressing the meeting, the District Magistrate said that many serious criminal incidents have their roots in land-related disputes.
He directed police officers to register cases promptly wherever criminal offences emerge from such disputes.
He also instructed officials to closely monitor individuals released on bail and, if they are found violating the law again, initiate fresh criminal proceedings and take stringent legal action without delay.
प्रयागराज में भूमि माफियाओं पर सख्ती, सूची अपडेट कर कार्रवाई तेज करने के निर्देश
प्रयागराज: जिले में भूमि माफियाओं के खिलाफ अभियान को और प्रभावी बनाने के लिए प्रशासन ने सख्त कदम उठाने का निर्णय लिया है।
इस संबंध में पुलिस लाइन सभागार में आयोजित जिला स्तरीय एंटी भू-माफिया टास्क फोर्स की बैठक में कई महत्वपूर्ण फैसले लिए गए। बैठक की अध्यक्षता पुलिस आयुक्त Jogendra Kumar और जिलाधिकारी Manish Kumar Varma ने की। दोनों अधिकारियों ने संबंधित विभागों को अवैध भूमि कब्जों और उससे जुड़े अपराधों के विरुद्ध अभियान को और तेज करने के निर्देश दिए।
बैठक में अधिकारियों को राज्य सरकार के निर्देशों के अनुरूप भूमि अतिक्रमण के मामलों में कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कहा गया।
सभी संबंधित विभागों को सरकारी और निजी भूमि पर हुए अवैध कब्जों की पहचान कर तत्काल कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू करने के निर्देश दिए गए।
साथ ही भविष्य में नए अतिक्रमण को रोकने और सार्वजनिक संपत्तियों की सुरक्षा के लिए प्रभावी निगरानी व्यवस्था मजबूत करने पर भी जोर दिया गया।
अधिकारियों ने अब तक हुई कार्रवाई की समीक्षा करते हुए भूमि माफियाओं के खिलाफ चल रहे अभियान को और प्रभावशाली बनाने की रणनीति पर चर्चा की।
बैठक में निर्णय लिया गया कि कार्रवाई केवल अवैध कब्जे हटाने तक सीमित नहीं रहेगी।
भूमि पर गैरकानूनी कब्जा, अवैध प्लॉटिंग, फर्जी संपत्ति सौदे, जबरन कब्जा, गैंग से जुड़े अपराध तथा भूमि हड़पने से संबंधित अन्य आपराधिक गतिविधियों में शामिल लोगों के विरुद्ध भी संबंधित कानूनी धाराओं के तहत कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
पुलिस आयुक्त और जिलाधिकारी ने अधिकारियों को चिह्नित भू-माफियाओं की मौजूदा सूची की पुनः समीक्षा कर उसे अद्यतन करने के निर्देश भी दिए। इसके तहत पुराने रिकॉर्ड का सत्यापन किया जाएगा, नए चिन्हित भू-माफियाओं के नाम सूची में जोड़े जाएंगे और सत्यापन के बाद आवश्यक होने पर अपात्र व्यक्तियों के नाम हटाए जाएंगे।
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि अद्यतन सूची तैयार होने से निगरानी बेहतर होगी और आदतन अपराधियों के खिलाफ त्वरित कार्रवाई करने में सुविधा मिलेगी।
बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि जिले में होने वाली अनेक गंभीर आपराधिक घटनाओं की जड़ भूमि विवाद होते हैं। उन्होंने पुलिस अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि भूमि विवाद से जुड़े मामलों में यदि कोई आपराधिक घटना सामने आती है तो तत्काल मुकदमा दर्ज किया जाए।
इसके साथ ही जमानत पर रिहा आरोपियों की गतिविधियों पर लगातार नजर रखने और दोबारा कानून का उल्लंघन करने पर उनके विरुद्ध नए मुकदमे दर्ज कर कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने के भी निर्देश दिए।
