Sixteen persons were arrested on charges of trying to rig the ongoing police constables recruitment written examination in Uttar Pradesh on the third day.

Among the arrested persons are two constables of the police force and eight solvers.
Two constables who tried to fake as examinees were arrested from Balrampur district.
One constable of PAC 45 battalion Aligarh district, identified as Bhagwan Singh and the other Govind Singh had come to appear in place of two aspirants.
One person identified as Ramu hailing from Aligarh district was arrested for posing as Vikas Yadav.
One Narendra of Rajasthan was arrested for posing as Ramdeen in Kanpur.
Similar arrests were nade in Jaunpur, Prayagraj, Jhansi, Eta and other places.
