The warning followed the funeral ceremonies of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, where calls for revenge against Trump by some mourners and hardline supporters further intensified already fragile regional tensions.

In a strongly worded message posted on social media, Trump said the United States had already put contingency plans in place to respond decisively to any threat against him.
