Two mobike borne youths die: Convoy vehicle of BJP candidate Karan Bhushan Singh hits the two wheeler in Gonda, Vehicle seized, driver arrested.

At least two youth died and two others including a woman were injured after a vehicle in the convoy of BJP parliament candidate Karan Bhushan Singh ran over them.

The unfortunate accident took place in Karnailgunj area in Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh.

Karan is parliamentary candidate from Kaisargunj and son of outgoing BJP MP Brij Bhushan Saran Singh.

Sources, however said An escort vehicle was reportedly involved in the accident at a time when the convoy was passing through Karnailgunj area in Gonda. The dead were two youths on a motorcycle that was said to have been hit by a Fortuner vehicle.

Additional SP Radhey Shyam Shahzad said, the injured were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead. The two victims gave been identified as Rehan and Shahzade. The vehicle has been seized and it’s driver arrested.

Karan’s father Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had been in news for quite some time after national women wrestlers accused him of sexual harassment.

Charges gave been framed against him in a court hearing the case.

Rehan 17 who died in this accident was on a bike with his nephew Shahzan 25 who also succumbed to injuries on the spot.

Rehan’s mother lodged an FIR in this case.

Angered over the incident locals blocked the road in protest but were later persuaded by the police to clear the area as all legal steps were being taken.
