US Intensifies Iran Strikes for Tenth Straight Night as Regional Tensions Deepen Across Middle East
Washington/Tehran: The conflict between the United States and Iran intensified further on Tuesday as American forces carried out a tenth consecutive night of military strikes on Iranian targets.
Iranian state media reported multiple explosions in Bandar Abbas, Sirik and several other locations, while Tehran described the situation as a “full-scale war”, even as diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions continued behind the scenes.
Reports from Iranian media indicated that fresh attacks were carried out near Tabriz, an area believed to contain underground missile installations, and Bushehr, which houses Iran’s only operational civilian nuclear power plant.
According to the US Central Command, the latest operation targeted military command facilities, air defence systems, coastal surveillance infrastructure, as well as missile launch sites, drone facilities and communication networks.
US President Donald Trump warned through a post on social media that Iran would face severe retaliation if American military personnel were killed in the escalating conflict.
The statement came amid growing concerns that the confrontation could widen further across the region.
The expanding hostilities have also affected neighbouring countries. Jordan announced that its air defence systems intercepted three missiles launched from Iran, while Kuwait reported intercepting what it described as hostile aerial targets.
Air raid sirens were also activated in Bahrain as regional governments heightened security in response to the evolving situation.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi movement announced a maritime blockade targeting Saudi Arabia, following an exchange of fire between the two sides last week—the first such confrontation in several years.
The development has raised fresh concerns over the security of key shipping routes in the region.
As tensions continue to rise, the United States has significantly strengthened its military presence in the Middle East.
The Pentagon is deploying additional fighter aircraft to the region, while dozens of aerial refuelling planes have already reached Israel, with more expected to arrive shortly.
The enhanced deployment is aimed at ensuring operational readiness as Washington evaluates its next course of action.
US defence officials also disclosed that nearly 100 American troops have sustained injuries—most of them described as minor—since July 7.
The latest escalation underscores the growing risk of a wider regional conflict, despite ongoing diplomatic initiatives intended to prevent further deterioration of the security situation.

ईरान के सरकारी मीडिया ने बंदर अब्बास, सिरिक और अन्य कई स्थानों पर विस्फोटों की पुष्टि की, जबकि ईरान के राष्ट्रपति ने देश की मौजूदा स्थिति को “पूर्ण पैमाने का युद्ध” बताया।
इसके बावजूद तनाव कम करने के उद्देश्य से कूटनीतिक स्तर पर बातचीत भी जारी रही।
ईरानी मीडिया के अनुसार ताजा हमले तबरीज़ के निकट उन क्षेत्रों में हुए, जहां भूमिगत मिसाइल प्रतिष्ठान होने की आशंका है।
इसके अलावा बुशेहर के आसपास भी हमलों की सूचना मिली, जहां ईरान का एकमात्र संचालित नागरिक परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र स्थित है।
अमेरिकी सेंट्रल कमांड ने कहा कि कार्रवाई के दौरान सैन्य कमांड केंद्रों, वायु रक्षा प्रणालियों, तटीय निगरानी प्रतिष्ठानों, मिसाइल एवं ड्रोन अवसंरचना तथा संचार नेटवर्क को निशाना बनाया गया।
अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने सोशल मीडिया पर जारी अपने संदेश में चेतावनी दी कि यदि अमेरिकी सैनिकों की मौत होती है तो ईरान को इसके गंभीर परिणाम भुगतने होंगे।
उनका यह बयान ऐसे समय आया है जब दोनों देशों के बीच संघर्ष के और अधिक फैलने की आशंका बढ़ती जा रही है।
इस बढ़ते सैन्य तनाव का असर पूरे पश्चिम एशिया में दिखाई देने लगा है। जॉर्डन ने दावा किया कि उसकी वायु रक्षा प्रणाली ने ईरान से दागी गई तीन मिसाइलों को मार गिराया।
वहीं कुवैत ने शत्रुतापूर्ण हवाई लक्ष्यों को रोकने की जानकारी दी, जबकि बहरीन में संभावित खतरे को देखते हुए एयर रेड सायरन बजाए गए और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को और सख्त किया गया।
उधर, ईरान समर्थित यमन के हूती विद्रोहियों ने सऊदी अरब के खिलाफ समुद्री नाकेबंदी की घोषणा की। यह कदम पिछले सप्ताह दोनों पक्षों के बीच कई वर्षों बाद हुई सीधी सैन्य झड़प के बाद उठाया गया है।
इस घटनाक्रम ने क्षेत्र की समुद्री सुरक्षा और अंतरराष्ट्रीय व्यापारिक मार्गों को लेकर नई चिंताएं पैदा कर दी हैं।
बढ़ते तनाव के बीच अमेरिका ने पश्चिम एशिया में अपनी सैन्य मौजूदगी और मजबूत कर दी है।
पेंटागन ने अतिरिक्त लड़ाकू विमानों की तैनाती शुरू कर दी है, जबकि कई हवाई ईंधन भरने वाले विमान इज़राइल पहुंच चुके हैं और अन्य विमान भी रास्ते में हैं।
माना जा रहा है कि यह कदम क्षेत्र में किसी भी संभावित स्थिति से निपटने की तैयारी के तहत उठाया गया है।
अमेरिकी रक्षा अधिकारियों ने यह भी बताया कि 7 जुलाई के बाद से अब तक करीब 100 अमेरिकी सैनिक घायल हुए हैं, हालांकि अधिकांश को मामूली चोटें आई हैं।
लगातार बढ़ती सैन्य गतिविधियां इस बात का संकेत हैं कि यदि तनाव कम करने के प्रयास सफल नहीं हुए तो यह संघर्ष पूरे क्षेत्र में और व्यापक रूप ले सकता है।
