US Sanctions India’s Skiez Travels, Five Others Over Alleged Links to Iran’s Mahan Air and IRGC
Washington has widened its sanctions regime against networks allegedly linked to Iran by blacklisting six companies and individuals, including India-based Skiez Travels and Logistics Private Limited, accusing them of facilitating the operations of Iranian carrier Mahan Air, which the United States alleges has long supported the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The latest punitive measures were announced by the US Department of the Treasury on Thursday.
According to the department, the action targets organisations functioning as general sales agents for Mahan Air, alleging that these entities have helped sustain the airline’s global commercial operations despite longstanding American sanctions linked to its alleged association with the IRGC.
Explaining the decision, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said organisations providing financial assistance, logistical support or commercial services to either the IRGC or Mahan Air contribute to sustaining what Washington considers a terrorist network.
He said the Treasury Department would continue identifying such entities, exposing their activities and restricting their access to the American financial system.
Among those sanctioned is Skiez Travels and Logistics Private Limited, an Indian company operating from Srinagar and New Delhi.
According to information available on the company’s official website, it has been serving as the authorised general sales agent for Mahan Air in India since 2020.
Although Mahan Air operates as a commercial airline, the US Treasury Department alleged that the carrier has, over several years, assisted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force (IRGC-QF) by facilitating the movement of its personnel, supporting military training activities and transporting drone technology as well as military equipment.
The sanctions list also includes Shanghai Wings International Logistics Co. of China, which US authorities allege coordinated shipments of electronic goods from China to Iran.
Also designated are Air Cargo Pro Limited of Russia and Shanghai Elite International Travel Co., both of which have been identified as general sales representatives of Mahan Air.
The Treasury Department additionally sanctioned Tang Xin, a Chinese national who serves as Managing Director of Shanghai Wings International Logistics.
According to US authorities, he has arranged travel-related operations for Mahan Air and also serves as Executive Director and a 50 per cent owner of Shanghai Elite International Travel, another company representing the airline in China.
Separate action was also taken against DadeNegar Startup Studio, which American authorities describe as a front organisation allegedly linked to the IRGC.
According to the Treasury Department, the entity supported military targeting activities through an online platform.
US officials further alleged that DadeNegar collected information regarding the locations of American and Israeli military assets to assist Iranian targeting operations.
The department also claimed that, in coordination with the IRGC, the organisation processed strike requests involving US interests in the Middle East.

वाशिंगटन का आरोप है कि इन संस्थाओं ने ईरानी एयरलाइन महान एयर के संचालन में सहयोग किया, जिसे अमेरिका लंबे समय से इस्लामिक रिवोल्यूशनरी गार्ड कॉर्प्स (IRGC) से जुड़ा मानता है।

अमेरिकी वित्त मंत्री स्कॉट बेसेंट ने कहा कि जो भी व्यक्ति या संस्था IRGC अथवा महान एयर को वित्तीय सेवाएं, लॉजिस्टिक सहायता या व्यावसायिक सहयोग उपलब्ध कराती है, वह अमेरिका के अनुसार एक आतंकवादी नेटवर्क को मजबूती देने का कार्य करती है।

प्रतिबंधों की सूची में शामिल स्कीज ट्रैवल्स एंड लॉजिस्टिक्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के कार्यालय श्रीनगर और नई दिल्ली में स्थित हैं।
कंपनी की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के अनुसार वह वर्ष 2020 से भारत में महान एयरवेज की अधिकृत जनरल सेल्स एजेंट के रूप में कार्य कर रही है।

प्रतिबंधों के दायरे में चीन की शंघाई विंग्स इंटरनेशनल लॉजिस्टिक्स कंपनी भी शामिल है। अमेरिकी अधिकारियों का आरोप है कि इस कंपनी ने चीन से ईरान तक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणों की ढुलाई का समन्वय किया।
इसके अतिरिक्त रूस की एयर कार्गो प्रो लिमिटेड और चीन की शंघाई एलीट इंटरनेशनल ट्रैवल कंपनी पर भी कार्रवाई की गई है, जिन्हें महान एयर के जनरल सेल्स एजेंट के रूप में चिन्हित किया गया है। पीटीआई के इनपुट्स के साथ।
अमेरिकी ट्रेजरी विभाग ने तांग शिन नामक चीनी नागरिक पर भी प्रतिबंध लगाया है। विभाग के अनुसार वह शंघाई विंग्स इंटरनेशनल लॉजिस्टिक्स के प्रबंध निदेशक हैं और महान एयर के लिए यात्रा संबंधी व्यवस्थाएं करते रहे हैं।
साथ ही वह शंघाई एलीट इंटरनेशनल ट्रैवल कंपनी के कार्यकारी निदेशक और 50 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदार भी हैं, जो चीन में महान एयर का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है।
अमेरिका ने डेडेनेगर स्टार्टअप स्टूडियो नामक संस्था को भी प्रतिबंधित सूची में शामिल किया है। ट्रेजरी विभाग का आरोप है कि यह संगठन आईआरजीसी से जुड़ा एक मुखौटा संस्थान है, जो एक वेबसाइट के माध्यम से सैन्य लक्ष्य निर्धारण संबंधी गतिविधियों में सहयोग करता था।
अमेरिकी अधिकारियों के अनुसार डेडेनेगर ने अमेरिकी और इजरायली सैन्य उपकरणों के ठिकानों से जुड़ी सूचनाएं एकत्र कर ईरान की सैन्य कार्रवाई में सहायता करने का प्रयास किया।
विभाग का यह भी दावा है कि आईआरजीसी के साथ मिलकर इस संस्था ने मध्य-पूर्व में अमेरिकी हितों को निशाना बनाने से जुड़े हमलों के अनुरोधों पर भी कार्य किया।
