SP Traffic Areeb Ahmad challenged a PAC truck parked haphazardly to send a message that nobody was above the law. The wrong parking of the truck created traffic chaos near Ravli temple in Agra on Monday, the first day of the beginning of the Shravan month.
The Agra SP traffic took the reins of traffic control in his hands after realizing the great rush of devotees was mounting.
Meanwhile, he noticed the big PAC truck parked wrongly and creating trouble in the movement of traffic.
After expressing displeasure he took out his mobile and issued a challan against the PAC truck.
His spontaneous action though surprised the traffic and PAC personnel but the next moment they realized that the officer was right in his action.
As a matter of fact such a scene was quite common where traffic personnel are often spotted parking their own vehicles wrongly before embarking upon their usual duties.
But nobody interrupts or points out their mistake. If somebody dares such a move cops put him into one trouble or the other. Officials are aware of such acts but they prefer to sit in their offices.
