Atiq Ahmed’s Land to House ITI College in Prayagraj, CM Yogi Approves Proposal
Prayagraj: Former Cabinet Minister and city west MLA Siddharth Nath Singh met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on Thursday and received approval for the establishment of a Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) on land once associated with gangster Atiq Ahmed.
Speaking after the meeting, Singh said the project would create new opportunities for thousands of young people in the Naini region by equipping them with technical skills and improving their employment prospects.
He described the initiative as a significant step towards empowering local youth through quality vocational education.
The Phaphamau legislator expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for giving the green signal to the long-pending proposal. During the meeting, he also presented a copy of his autobiography, Anubhut, to CM Yogi Adityanath.
Singh further thanked the Chief Minister for approving the establishment of another educational institution in the village of Katuhula Gauspur.
He said the construction of the ITI would not only promote the rule of law and good governance in the region but would also transform land once linked to criminal activities into a centre of education and skill development.
According to him, the project reflects the government’s commitment to using public resources for the welfare of society and future generations.
On the occasion, the MLA also requested the Chief Minister to sanction several development projects related to roads, drains, and sewer infrastructure in the Phaphamau Assembly constituency.
He appealed for early administrative approval so that these public welfare works could be completed without delay. Dr Ashutosh Kumar Singh of IIIT presented a book to the CM on this occasion.
अतीक अहमद की जमीन पर बनेगा आईटीआई, मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने दी परियोजना को मंजूरी
प्रयागराज: पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री एवं फाफामऊ विधायक सिद्धार्थ नाथ सिंह ने गुरुवार को लखनऊ में उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ से मुलाकात की।
इस दौरान उन्होंने शहर पश्चिमी क्षेत्र में पूर्व माफिया अतीक अहमद से जुड़ी भूमि पर राजकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (आईटीआई) स्थापित करने के प्रस्ताव को मुख्यमंत्री से स्वीकृति दिलाई।
बैठक के बाद सिद्धार्थ नाथ सिंह ने कहा कि इस संस्थान के निर्माण से नैनी क्षेत्र के हजारों युवाओं को तकनीकी शिक्षा प्राप्त करने का अवसर मिलेगा और उनके लिए रोजगार के नए रास्ते खुलेंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह पहल युवाओं को कौशल आधारित शिक्षा उपलब्ध कराने और उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम साबित होगी।
फाफामऊ विधायक ने लंबे समय से लंबित इस परियोजना को मंजूरी देने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया। मुलाकात के दौरान उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ को अपनी आत्मकथा ‘अनुभूति’ की एक प्रति भी भेंट की।
इसके साथ ही उन्होंने अतीक अहमद ग्राम पंचायत के अंतर्गत आने वाले कटुहुला गौसपुर गांव में एक अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थान की स्थापना को मंजूरी मिलने पर भी मुख्यमंत्री का धन्यवाद किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि आईटीआई का निर्माण केवल क्षेत्र में कानून का सम्मान और सुशासन का संदेश ही नहीं देगा, बल्कि यह इस बात का भी प्रतीक होगा कि अपराध से जुड़ी भूमि को अब शिक्षा, कौशल विकास और समाजहित के कार्यों के लिए उपयोग में लाया जा रहा है।
यह परियोजना सरकार की जनकल्याण और भावी पीढ़ियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता को भी दर्शाती है।
इस अवसर पर विधायक ने फाफामऊ विधानसभा क्षेत्र में सड़क, नाली और सीवर व्यवस्था से जुड़े कई विकास कार्यों को भी शीघ्र स्वीकृति प्रदान करने का अनुरोध किया, ताकि जनहित की योजनाओं को बिना विलंब पूरा किया जा सके।
