Ayodhya Ram Temple Donation Theft Probe: Police Recover Fresh Evidence, Ramashankar Yadav Alias Tinnu and Manish Interrogated Together
Ayodhya: The investigation into the alleged theft of offerings from the Ram Temple has entered a crucial phase, with custodial interrogation of the accused yielding several significant leads.
Investigators claim to have gained a clearer understanding of the alleged modus operandi adopted to siphon off donation money over a prolonged period.
During questioning, accused Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu and Manish Yadav allegedly disclosed important details regarding the manner in which the cash was handled.
Police suspect that a concealed space had been created inside a washroom, where bundles of currency withdrawn from the donation boxes were temporarily hidden before being taken off the temple premises.
According to sources involved in the investigation, the hideout was located in a washroom used by the temple management.
Since the facility was generally accessed only by authorised staff, routine movement there did not attract suspicion. Investigators believe the cash was first concealed there and later removed from the premises in a planned manner.
Police have also recovered bundles of currency hidden inside the washroom ceiling. Officials say the recovery has strengthened their suspicion that the location was repeatedly used for storing money taken out of the donation boxes.
During the search, cash amounting to ₹2.25 lakh was recovered from the washroom.
Four Days of Custodial Interrogation Yield Important Breakthrough
Police have completed four days of custodial interrogation of six accused in the case. On Saturday, Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu and Manish Yadav were questioned together, and the suspected sequence of events was reconstructed.
Investigators believe the joint interrogation may help establish the role of each accused and bring additional evidence to light.
The investigating team is also preparing to take both accused to the counting room where temple donations are processed.
A scene reconstruction is being carried out, and officials believe it may help identify any additional individuals involved in the alleged offence.
Police are attempting to establish the complete route through which the cash was allegedly taken out of the temple premises.
Key Findings Emerging from the Probe
Investigators believe every participant allegedly had a pre-assigned role, ensuring that no activity appeared suspicious during the execution of the plan.
Examination of CCTV footage recorded between April 27 and June 5 reportedly did not reveal any suspicious movement.
Fresh questioning has centred on Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu and Manish, particularly regarding the concealment of currency bundles.
Investigators suspect that while hiding the cash was part of a planned exercise, no separate strategy appears to have been devised for moving the money out of the temple complex.
Police are also examining whether the counting, bundling and transportation of currency followed a consistent pattern that could establish the entire sequence of events.

अयोध्या। राम मंदिर चढ़ावा चोरी मामले की जांच निर्णायक दौर में पहुंचती दिखाई दे रही है। पुलिस रिमांड के दौरान आरोपियों से हुई पूछताछ में कई महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियां सामने आई हैं।
जांच अधिकारियों का दावा है कि कथित चोरी के तरीके को लेकर अब कई अहम कड़ियां जुड़ने लगी हैं।
पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपी रामशंकर यादव उर्फ टिन्नू और मनीष यादव ने कथित तौर पर चढ़ावे की रकम को ठिकाने लगाने के तरीके से जुड़े कई महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य बताए।
पुलिस को संदेह है कि मंदिर परिसर के एक शौचालय में विशेष रूप से ऐसी जगह बनाई गई थी, जहां दानपात्र से निकाली गई नोटों की गड्डियां अस्थायी रूप से छिपाई जाती थीं। बाद में अवसर मिलने पर उन्हें मंदिर परिसर से बाहर पहुंचाया जाता था।
जांच से जुड़े सूत्रों के अनुसार, यह स्थान मंदिर प्रबंधन से जुड़े कर्मचारियों के उपयोग वाले शौचालय में था। वहां सामान्यतः अधिकृत कर्मचारियों का ही आना-जाना होने के कारण किसी को आसानी से संदेह नहीं होता था।
पुलिस का मानना है कि पहले नकदी को वहीं छिपाया जाता और बाद में योजनाबद्ध तरीके से बाहर ले जाया जाता था।
तलाशी के दौरान पुलिस को शौचालय की छत में छिपाकर रखी गई नोटों की गड्डियां भी मिलीं। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि इस बरामदगी से यह आशंका और मजबूत हुई है कि दानपात्र से निकाली गई रकम को बार-बार इसी स्थान पर रखा जाता था। जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने शौचालय से 2.25 लाख रुपये भी बरामद किए।
चार दिन की रिमांड में जांच को मिले अहम सुराग
मामले में गिरफ्तार छह आरोपियों से पुलिस चार दिन की रिमांड पर पूछताछ कर चुकी है। शनिवार को रामशंकर यादव उर्फ टिन्नू और मनीष यादव को आमने-सामने बैठाकर पूछताछ की गई तथा घटनाक्रम का पुनर्निर्माण कराया गया।
जांच अधिकारियों का मानना है कि इससे प्रत्येक आरोपी की भूमिका स्पष्ट करने और नए साक्ष्य जुटाने में मदद मिल सकती है।
जांच टीम दोनों आरोपियों को उस गणना कक्ष में भी ले जाने की तैयारी कर रही है, जहां मंदिर के चढ़ावे की गिनती होती है।
घटनास्थल का पुनर्निर्माण कर पुलिस यह जानने का प्रयास कर रही है कि इस पूरे घटनाक्रम में किसी अन्य व्यक्ति की भी भूमिका थी या नहीं। साथ ही यह भी पता लगाया जा रहा है कि दानपात्र से निकाली गई रकम को मंदिर परिसर से बाहर किस तरीके से पहुंचाया जाता था।
जांच में अब तक सामने आए प्रमुख बिंदु
प्रारंभिक जांच से संकेत मिले हैं कि कथित चोरी की पूरी प्रक्रिया में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की भूमिका पहले से निर्धारित थी, ताकि किसी की गतिविधि संदेहास्पद न लगे।
27 अप्रैल से 5 जून तक के सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच में पुलिस को किसी प्रकार की संदिग्ध गतिविधि दिखाई नहीं दी।
ताजा पूछताछ में रामशंकर यादव उर्फ टिन्नू और अभिनव से नोटों की गड्डियां छिपाने के तरीके को लेकर विशेष रूप से सवाल किए गए।
जांच में यह भी सामने आया है कि नोट छिपाने की योजना पहले से तैयार थी, जबकि उन्हें मंदिर परिसर से बाहर ले जाने के लिए अलग से कोई विशेष रणनीति नहीं बनाई गई थी।
पुलिस अब नोटों की गिनती, गड्डियां बनाने और उन्हें बाहर ले जाने की पूरी प्रक्रिया का मिलान कर घटनाक्रम की सम्पूर्ण श्रृंखला स्थापित करने में जुटी है.
